After getting time to find out what really happened, I managed to look back at how ridiculous this was.

Two kids who ditched school were nearby the bank when it was robbed. The police came seeing as how the bank had robbed, and they were only 2 blocks away. The kids didn't know the bank had been robbed and thought the cops were after them. They ran for the school, and the police mistook them for the robbers. They went after them, putting us in lockdown. They cought the kids, but the bank robber got away.

When there's a bank robbery, there are often guns invovled. The teachers need to keep the students safe from things like these by putting them in a lockdown. Around here, we've had a Post Office robbery and someone robbed a Safeway down the street and we've only went into lockdown for the Safeway robbery. I thought it was stupid, but if you think about it it was smart. It was to keep you safe. At least you didn't have to do any work.

Wow all that for a bank robbery. Big deal because those people could of not held the whole school because they probably needed more people. I don't know how much people they had for the robbery, but i'm thinking not enough. The principal should think twice before doing a lockdown.

Am I the only person that caught this part ? You're going to die ( in your mind ) and everyone is thinking , " I guess I should have met that chick after 3rd period under the bleachers " . I must have found America . I thought I was lost after that left turn back there but I guess I'm alright *wink* .
Your very lucky that the " alert " your school was on had nothing to do with a direct threat . I can't imagine someone walking into the schools in this area with artillery strapped to their back . We've seen to many american schools on the news . Live long and prosper !

Honestly, I'd think staying calm and rational would be better than going nuts like that. I've handled tornadoes, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, tornadoes, blizzards, and a few tornadoes... so I guess everything I've dealt with was weather-related, but I never freaked out. Maybe just because there wasn't anything to stab during a tornado that'd magically make the problem go away. Except for that stupid teacher that's freaking out thinking everyone was going to die... that would've made ONE of my problems go away...

It sounds like you were really freaking out. You at least tried calming yourself, but it didn't work. I think that's the first time I've heard about something like that happening to somebody. And I guess 7 pairs of scissors, although sugical, would be a little effective.

*Stab stab stab*

Sounds like everyone got quite razzled up about this. But in the end, it turns out to be for nothing...=/ Well, that instinct of yours oughta help you whenever you venture into a dark alley on Deathstreet District, 13th Avenue, Mugtown.

At least it all wound up being just some bank robber across the street. I mean, he'd have to be some sort of retard to lock himself up in a school...Where there are lots of people, who have access to things such as scissors and scalpels. And especially with the very few strategic exits that will be located in a school building. Retard...The bank he robed would be safer to be held up in....

Keep that annabilistic combat instinct up and you'll be ready to live in Manhattan.

Friday, December 16.

4th period...

LOCKDOWN. True Story.

Yeah, my school went down into lockdown today. It was crazy. Me and my classmates were forced to hide behind my teacher's desk, being told she believed it to be only a drill. The principal tells us only that Lockdown has begun and every student is to report to a classrom.

5 minutes in, our teacher tells us this isn't a drill...

For 5 minutes, I'm human. I'm scared out of my wits, wondering whether or not I'm going to die. (It turns out like the half the class shared the one thought that we didn't want to die a virgin). I try to appear calm to my friends and not worry about it.

Didn't help.

So, my animalistic combat instincts kick in. I force myself into an ashtma attack so I can get the aftermath's adrenaline rush in my system. To do that, I had to stop breathing for a while.

I grabbed 7 pairs of scissors. I'm not joking when I say I wasn't me. I was only focused on death, seeing it right in front of me. I planned how to fight anyone, whether I lived or not.

I lost track of time for a while. I was scared and furious. I was not ready to die. People kept joking around and shit, and they were breaking my focus. I hit one really hard and shut him up.

20 minutes before I'm scheduled to leave, the principal assures over the PA that we're only keeping someone out instead of there being an intruder. The teacher attempts to continue

I take the bottle of water that my worried classmates give me and chug the full thing down all at once.

I can't stop watching the door. I mean, if someone broke in through the doors made of GLASS, I don't think the PA announcer would say someone had broken in, cause that'd comprimise saftey. I'm looking at the chemicals on the wall.

A friend of mine calls her mom who works there. A bankrobbery across the street is the cause. All that for nothing....

What a Friday.
