Gravity seemed to be working on Blank's side. With the fluxuation of matter and reality, gravity too had begun to alter. It would become heavy, to average, to nearly nonexistant. In the case of the knife coming close to his chest, he was fortunate enough to catch gravity in a lower wave of its ever peaking and crashing amounts. He slid and jumped, floating a bit, to the side, and landed on his feet, sliding a bit away from where he jumped. The dust on the ground was heavy, and made it difficult to get a running start. He readied his blade in a careless, seemingly drunken grasp, but spoke before he dashed.
"If you are looking to prove yourself, this world is not your arena. Do you see the sky? Do you know why it is that color? Science doesn't matter. Logic doesn't matter. The sky is emptiness, that blue color is the absence of energy, in this realm at least. The Moon, the only living energy in the sky, she is the mother to all of us here, and even she is crumbling away into blue. All people of importance are dead or gone. Except for myself. I played an integral role to the people of this world - but no more. When this world began to crumble, I needed to escape. I was once two, and my greedier side was immobile, so it took advantage of my good. We balance out into a normal man. You may not care, or even be listening, but I've got through too much torment of fusing myself together from two bitter rivals to just give up my chance. I'm sorry, but you cannot pass through that gate." Blank took a large step and almost flew towards Sajin. He missed greatly and went rocketing onto the bridge where he spun around and ran backwards once hitting the ground to stop himself. The bridge was wide and cracked, with high railings and ornate sculptures of large lions gracing the pillars that were at the four corners. This was only one bridge in town. The center of the bridge had a large crack, and below flowed the massive river. It was dark and foreboding, smoky at the surface from all the ash. The pieces that had fallen from the bridge slightly blocked the water way, causing the alleys and streets to the east of the city to be flooded up to about ankle deep. Gravity fluxed backed to normal for a second, and Blank beckoned his opponent, his sword tip pointed at his direction. |

:: Sajin laughed a boor laugh at the feminine challenger that stood before him. He was a bit perplexed at Blankâs voice as he ended his statement. Sajin kneeled down and gave a slight âhmphâ to his challenger. ::
âPortal or not, im not here to exhort myself over a trivial exit. I aim to become one of the greatest fighters in this realm and as well as others. You may not know this but many people are watching over this fight as I breathe even now. We are both judged under many circumstances, we are challenged by what this planet may throw at us, and we are just pawns for a sideshow the higher beings have brought for us. In other words; we are just something of an amusement for others who are watching us. But I donât care about them, what only matters is that I will be known to be the greatest fighter this realm has ever seenâŚand I just hope you are an even more challenge that I hope forâŚâ :: Sajin stands up and notices his left hand stationed very close to the blade he has satchled. The ashy wind blazes around Sajin and Blank, redding out residues of ash and embers that have came from the depts from inside the falling planet. Above him the clouds seem to whisper to each other as the sky slowly became dim. Below them the planet gave minor tremors, and the walkways of the town slowly began to spilt. Sajin looked all around him and laughed. :: âWhat an interesting way to fightâŚits as if nature herself is in this battle as wellâŚbut enough talkingâŚlets get this started!â :: Sajin dashed forward a couple of feet toward Blank with screams of valor. He then jumps in the air and pulls out a small dirk that was coated with viruses and diseases that can only effect the person if it penetrates within any skin types. Sajin then gets pulled by the planets gravity, very quickly closing in on Blank :: |

Blank spoke through the white mask that covered his mouth. His voice came through as high and soft. It was gentle, sadistic... oddly enough, like a womans. It had a slight echo to it, even in this open square.
"Oh my... last survivors. The people ran out of the gates and down... down into nonexistance. I've done too much to do the same. I've never seen you... I wouldn't doubt it if you've never seen me. And after this fight, you may as well forget my faceless face. We are fighting now, are we not? I'm not letting that portal from my grasp this time." Blank had few tricks up his sleeve. The whole world was at the fighters disposal, which wasn't much of a statement. He waited for his oppenent to make the first move. One hand shook slightly over the hilt of his blade, the other leaned calmly on his waist. If the opponent mad a dash for the portal, he would stab him in the back, and he was almost positive the same would happen with him. Blank knew the lands. He could find another portal if he lost. But could his opponent? He didn't particularly care. Then again, mercy had to be in his nature... partially. |

OOC: Even though you never seen me battle before, I liked your story of this collapsing world and I will take that challenge...
BIC: :: Sajin stared back at Blank with the same outlook as his. He too wanted to escape the deserted town in the collapsing world, but he noticed the man in front of him, Blank, as well wanted to escape the hellish environment, and Sajin would stop at nothing to achieve his goalâŚAs the wind blew his clothing was consisted of a tightened matter that was attached to his skin, to improve his agility and movement. He was not wearing anything on his chest, but he was shivering a bit due to the coldness of the windsâŚ:: âSo were the last remaining survivors in the townâ Sajin said as he looked around noticing no one walking around in the rapture-like environment. Sajin pointed towered blank with a serious expression. âThat portal ahead of this massive town has only room for one!â :: Sajinâs hand was pointed at Blank, he began to smile a little bit as if he knew ahead of time that the battle to escape the world was his ownâŚhe enjoyed the fact that his life was at risk, he was marveled that his opponent may be stronger than him in every possible way, and he was hoping that this fight was going to be the greatest fight of Sajinâs timeâŚ:: OOC: This sounds like fun... |

OOC: So I have a new character. I know, I sort of left my last battle in the dust, but it'd be a bump if I wanted to post in it again, plus there wasn't too much left to say in it. Plus, this new character is a lot better than the other one. I've shelled him out more, he's actually able to do stuff instead of pound things like the other guy.
This is an open battle. I'll take any challengers. I'm up for a challenge! I haven't battled in too long, and I'm gonna get into it more regularly again. This'll be the guy I use most of the time... eh, I hope I didn't say that about the other guy I used.... anyways... There'll be sort of a story that goes along with this battle. My character, Blank, is attempting to exit his world that is collapsing around him. There is a small opening that will close when one person, and one person alone, passes through it into another dimension. Whoever I am fighting will also be there, fighting to get through the door (don't worry, for the sake of your characters life, there are other exits, but very far away, and they want to get through this one because the world, which is collapsing, is dangerous to transverse.) The Opening is, oddly enough, in the doorway of a mansion in a large city. Cutting through the middle of this city is a river, which falls from a large waterfall to the north of the city. There are bridges, tall houses, alley ways and open streets. There is a city square which sort of serves as a large flat bridge over the river. The mansion is to the very north, and is close to the western side of the river. The city has cobblestone roads and a tan color to all the houses. It is cold, and the sky is burning in a kaleidoscopic, hallucinogenic whirl of colors. The ground around the city is being eaten away in small spots. The world is dying, and whoever can find an escape route has to escape if they want there lives. These routes will take them to another world, an unknown place. Its worth the risk, wherever they lead to. Why the world is collapsing... it has its reasons. All law and discord has been demolished. There is nothing; no chaos, no order. It doesn't exist. How THIS happened... well, thats up to your imagination. So onto the battle. IC: Blank Harmony onced live in this land, this Everywhereland, this dying, collapsing world that fell in small pieces steadily around him. The City was in tact, along with short bits of land around it. The mountains and waterfall to the north were still solid and existing, along with the river which fell violently to is own death into nothingness as it exited the city. The wind was warm, and then cold. It didn't make sense, then again, what did it matter? It was wind, and it wasn't going anywhere. It seems like it would be the only thing left after the great white abyss that ate at the land had its fill. Blank saw the right kind of light shine from the doors to the mansion on the hill. There was a whole city and a gate to get past before he could make it to this other realm. No problem, as long as nothing got in the way. He saw a figure in the town square. They stared at the same spot. Taking a large bound as if gravity barely mattered, he landed onto the town center. He landed on the harsh points of his boots, his scarf blowing calmly in the even harsher wind. The ribbon at the end of his Silver Rapier was whipping at a much faster rate. His blue bellbottoms moved the same direction as the scarves. His faceless mask didn't move a bit, neither did the tight suit jacket around his chest. His hand trembled. |
