I had shown this clip to my dad and he and I just finish seeing it in a commercial. It was fora beer, maybe it was Millar Light, can't quite remember, but they only show a small clip of it. I thought it was cool thought that it became so popular that it became part of a commercial. |

The house is real. It has 26,000 lights and was built by an engineer that lives in Mason, OH. The story was on an Entertainment show this morning on CBS.
"Carson Williams from Mason, Ohio used 88 Light-O-Rama channels to control his 16,000 christmas lights. The music is mesmerizing, the light display is enchanting, and I'd go crazy if I were his next door neighbor. So enjoy this clip and be happy we're in a different zipcode." Cars line up the street to watch the display tuning their car radios to 96.9 FM to hear the music synchronized to the lights. This house is real. The other house, part of a giant hoax last year, is fake and constructed out of 32 photoshopped still images of lights on and off in different states of snow. For your reference, three website articles proving this house's existence including one with a link to a news story on the man that created it. This year's house features a song about Patriotism, Frosty the Snowman, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Wizards in Winter song. http://media.putfile.com/WizardsofWinter-SM http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/xmaslights.asp http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_christmas_lights.htm |

Um...is there any way to find out who did this? Cuz my brother-in-law had E-mailed this to me (not from this site...I think I can link it and post it here cuz the one I have came up pretty big on the screen), but anyway, my brother told me that a friend he worked with did that and that was his house. He could've been kidding around with me, but...**shrugs** |

It took me three days, but I figured out that I can do this now with the new Dell laptop (that I have yet to deliver to Rosy), a few parts from RadioShack, inexpensive lights from the 99 cents store, and time and energy.
Don't think I'd use Trans-Siberian Orchestra though. Maybe, but not. I was thinking more of setting it to theme of Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari songs. That should piss off my neighbor. Alas, it's a project for next year. |

It seems more like they took varying shots of the house and spliced them together to Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
I thought the whole damned thing was hilarious, though. They kept adding more to it. Heh. I got this a while ago. I was surprised that Best Week Ever only now picked up on it. |

... That was the most awesome thing I have seen in my life! Although now I have the odd seizure sensation, lol.
*envisions this as Zabuza's house in the future when he gets bored* |

...wow. That was really cool! Talk about too much time on your hands. Still, I would have loved to see that in person. I wonder how long it took them to do all that. |
