Alright. Let me clarify a little bit. Let's all think of words that sound the same but have completely different meanings and spellings. Or words that are spelled the same but sound different. I'll give examples of each, then it's your turn!
Dough - "batter" for bread, also a term for money. Doe - a female deer. Doh! - Homer's way of saying "darnit!" Or! Live - "Coming to you live from New York, it's Katie Curry with..." Live - A variation of "life;" Living. Ok, let's play! |
