Thank you for bumping this I really wanted to post in it
My favorite charater is Link because I dominate with him I was undefeated until X became my equal. I'm a master of range and mostly fight on the ground my friends usually have 60% before getting close enough to attack me... 
But sadly enough This is the game I'm best at playing. O yeah I use Ganondorf when there is more than one opponent. |

my favorate is proably gananodof. i used to play as fox in the first one but when i started to play as him in the second he was alot faster and i wasent used to it. oh well i got used to playing as ganondorf. but i hate his ^A attack it takes to long to charge up. |

After playing Super Smash Bros: Melee for five hours last night. I am going to have to say I change my mind on Roy being my favorite character. I actually think Marth is a tad bit better. He seems to be more agile. |

Of course, you have to time it just right. If you mess up, you just end up falling asleep like a bozo. And with how easy Jigglypuff gets knocked out herself, it's not a good thing to be left wide open.  |

(Wow...havent played this game in a looong while)
Dr. Mario, Shiek, kirby, and Samus...Depending on my opponents strategy depends on which charactier I would use... I would use Dr. Mario just to annoy people and piss them off I use Shiek because im badass with her Kirby...I dunno why, hes good at getting back on the stage if hes hit and Samus...I know so many glitches with her its not funny...Like when fighting big people you can use the Down+B trick over and over to piss people off... |

Hehe, going off the color thing, I play as the light blue (or occasionally pink) yoshi when I'm playing as Yoshi. When I'm playing as Shiek, it HAS to be blue or I get so messed up.  |

In Melee, I also like Donkey Kong. Me and Shanan were playing 2 on 2 against Bowser and Luigi level 9, and my full powered punch attack knocked Bowser of the stage in one hit (Bowser had 10% damage). This was the Hyrule Castle stage, and from about the center of the stage.
Oh, Marth and Roy are the best 2 characters of the game. They can attack crouched, standing, jumping, slicing, and jabbing (forward or upward). If you face 2 people who play as Marth and Roy (and they played with them a few times before), you will be hard pressed to beat that combo. Unless your Mr. Game And Watch... He is just a cheap bastard |

for the 64 version it was Link all the way that was really the only character I used.
For the GC one I mainly use Fox. When I'm not Fox I'm usually Shiek, Yoshi, or Marth, but I pick randomly a lot<< |

Marth, definetly. He's fast, and his attacks can do major damage if done right. I like him a lot more that Roy too even though Roy can do some major damage. |

I thought I posted here yesterday.
Anyway. The very first time I played Smah Bros. for the 64 I chose Pikachu, simply because he was an anime character. From then on I chose him to get better, and now he's my best character. I've mastered his every move thus far and can play pretty well against multiple high-level characters. Other characters I'm good with are Pichu (obviously) and Roy. |

I have to say Marth is my favorite. I mean, Roy is better then Marth in alot of ways, but Roy also is bad in alot of ways. Roy's charge attack at full damages him 10%, but it does a good amount of damage to the opponenet. Marth's charge attack does no damage to himself, and does a good amount of dmg to the opponent. Roy is slower, while Marth is faster. This is good for facing Pikachu players (cause they are so damn fast), while it is good to face players with slower characters becuase you can get out of their way often. Marth has more range then Roy, but only a little.
In all, Marth is the all around better character. Now for challenges, Roy is the best, but just fighting has Marth slightly in the lead. My other favorites: Pikachu, Mewtwo, Roy, Kirby, and the mysterious Tofu (XD) |

My top two favorites are complete opposites Tier wise:
Marth and Mewtwo. If I'm going against casual players I usually go with Mewtwo. But if I'm going against an above average player I stick with Marth. |

I seem to do the best with Samus, Link and Roy/Marth. I'll use any other character but those I do the best with, espeically Samus. At least I was good with them. Haven't played that game in so long, might be a bit rusty. |

Anyway, mine is Marth, Roy (to defeat that 51 Event Level), Donkey Kong (Couldn't defeat that 15 minutes without him), and that how I see it now... Now if Ike (FE9) came along and everyone used him... It would be 100% impossible not to like him at all (considering if he get his weapon and special skill). But I don't like Pokemon because they seem to take up time just to master them while you got Zelda and Link to master faster. *Drools* Link V.S. Marth... Now for Fire V.S. Fire! Mario V.S. Roy! Now for... Two Sexy Princess Bitch Fight! Zelda V.S. Peach.
Anyway, Roy, Marth and Donkey Kong (just about less than I like Marth and Roy) are my favorite but... Mr. Game and Watch suck. I don't know why, but 2D thingy seem to be... stupid. |
