Technically, the emulator isn't illegal. Unfortunately, the BIOS, needed for PSX emulators, is. But, I'm sure there's ways to do what you want to without an emulator. For the status screen, I would guess getting a sort of template wouldn't be hard that you could just add stuff onto, if someone had the time and ability to make one. For sprites and equipment, those are all over the place. |

Alright, then, Desroth. Maybe you're right. But even if that's true, that sounds like a while before I joined MoD (probably as Cheveyo Chowilawu), which would put that as quite a long time ago. So, unless he's also currently a mod somewhere else (which is possible), I wouldn't see any reason for him to be acting like one here - and even if that IS the case, it wasn't the 'acting like a mod' part that I was complaining about. Aaaanyway, yeah, screenshots are generally your best bet, if you have an emulator and you can get it working right. If that's not an option, you're gonna have to google it. For the character sprites, this will work well enough. That has 'em all listed, I think. |

I think Beo just screen caps the pics he wants on his emu and then uses Paint Shop to take the sprite off the cap. But yeah, that is what most people probably do, unless there is some sort of online thing to make those  ... But thats all I can think of is to screen cap and cut out what you need. |

Too shut you people up *cough*tamarain*cough* Beowulf was a FULL MOD here when this fabulous site was first found back when Anime-Us died. I remeber this site when only Sparda and Kaijin and a few other were here. Why do I know? I was banned over a issue I had with Beo a long time ago when he became a mod when he provided sprites for ranks or the equip items, cant remeber which.
Back on topic, I have found that it is easy to type in something like this: Final Fantasy Sprite Sheets In google. People do rip whole sheets from games that you can use. It can take some time to sift through the google image or web to get what you need, but hey, it works! |

*looks at memberlist for former mods he remembers* I know I was... Deesse was... Sparda... Leon (I think)... I think that's it for those that aren't now on staff. So Beo? Definitely not in all my time around XG and MoD... and I think that covers what, a year at least? |

Yeah, that's about right. Plus which, Elric plays FFT on an emulator; I'm still struggling to get the damn emulator configured right (WHY CAN'T I CHANGE THE START BUTTON!?). So, yeah, I can't take screenshots, which kills my shot at ripping sprites.
However, if you need more editing (on weapons) than just a simple palette change, I might be able to help ya there; I just need to know what the weapon base should be and what it should look like. Or even just what it should look like; I can probably pick the base for it. Shanan, since you're being rather blunt here, I will be too. Knock it the fuck off.. You're obviously putting extra effort into being an asshole lately, and there's no need for it whatsoever. |

Look, this would be under Help / Suggestion stuff. Or probably the Art Thread, requesting for something you need. Now, pointing further out that you need to make a contribution to this thread, which I failed to see at this point. Such as person named Evo did raise one point about No point = Spam. Indeed, it becoming a spam since someone is requesting impatiently while he could go off and find it manually. Not only one did but another just completely ignore the fact that if you just put a link here on so they make it themselves manually, it would not only save a lot of time but get thing easier. Not only that, but you should as least sent a PM to somebody who has and can provided a link or help you with your request, such as how I made my Fire Emblem 4 stat sheet. And if you were to made a thread like this, some people would ignore it so it is much better to save time on PMing someone who has them. I believed Tamarin have one so why won't you just PM him and see what you get. Afterall, this impatient requestment won't get any point across beside attracting more spam.
