You've Got Mail... I think I was the only one that remembers that junky movie. Then there was Napoleon Dynamite. Another movie would have to be Legally Blonde, crap crap and a side of crap with that. Finally one of my most hated moves would have to be 101 Dalmatians, the live action version. I never really liked it. |

I've got a new one.
The Grudge. I have, absolutely no idea what I should say about this movie. It was one HBO a few days ago, and from the previews I honestly thought it looked good, and a lot of my friends told me it was definitely worth seeing ... Throughout the entire movie, I gave it the kind of face. I didn't know what to think. I never jumped, I was never scared, never had trouble sleeping or anything. It was horribly un-scary. That, and it just seemed almost retarded ... Is it just me? |

Originally posted by Cyro Xero Good God, did I ever hate Titanic when it first came out. Seriously, I went to see it with these other girls who were on the news for seeing it 30 times in the theaters and I was there for their 25th time. They were bawling throughout most of the movie. And I spent the better part of it laughing. They thought I was a monster for laughing over Leo's death. I was one of the few people that disliked him in his glory days. Now everyone dislikes him like it's in style. I thought it was the most contrived bit of bull shit ever and whenever people started talking to me about it I'd have several things to retort at them with. |

Titanic.
People actually believed the relationship those to had was really romantic. It was just a one night stand, only the 1910's version of having sex within the first 30 minutes of meeting someone. |

Originally posted by XeoShiranui I actually did. I'm an uber nerd...I have all those older sci-fi movies..."The Day The Earth Stood Still", "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea", "V", "The Time Machine"...etc...Been into them since I was little and still contine to watch them after watching them a thousand times already. I hear the book of "War of the Worlds" was pretty boring, but I'm still intrigued. If given the time, or I could get a copy when I had the time, I'd actually read it. But the movie, the original of course, I've watched sooo many times and I still love it. So yeah... |

I have to ask, why is everyone saying War of the Worlds?
Maybe it's just me, but I don't think a whole lot of people really liked it that much in the first place? |

War of the Worlds...that movie just pisses me off...I have plenty to rant about it, yet at the same time I liked it. **shrugs** It's the die-hard Speilberg fangirl in me. **sigh**
But I'd have to say The Village...I HATED that movie!!! Saw it opening night with my sisters cuz I thought it was going to be so good...feh. There are a lot of movies that people say they hate and whatnot, and I'll be able to pull at least ONE thing about it that I liked despite of everything else...but I have failed to do so with The Village....**spazzes** HATED it!!! and...I like Episode III too... |

I second Rogue with Napoleon Dynamite. There are some movie that are so stupid they are funny.. This movie was beyond that and was just stupid. I felt like I lost brain power watching it. A complete waste of time and money in my opinion. |

There's a new movie out that all the critics are raving about, all your friends have been quoting it left and right and it's a hit with everybody you know.
Going to see this movie is now your top priority and everything about it has peaked your interest. You see the movie finally after yielding to everyone's prodding. It's utter CRAP! What the fuck were these people thinking? Who could love this movie and do spoofs of it and all that jazz? What movie is it for you? I personally was rather disappointed and to the point of annoyed with Napoleon Dynamite, the movie that everyone around me quotes, wears shirts that read "Vote for Pedro" and even a club at my college spoofed for the annual Spring singing/dancing competition to the delight of the audience. I have no idea why this movie was so lovable for everyone else, but it was really lame. |
