Oh ya, the memory card holds 1019 blocks, not 1012

Bah, 7 blocks difference.

I just wish I would have gotten it sooner, when I got RE4 a few weeks ago, I was forced to delete pretty much all of my Super Monkey Ball 2 saved replies, and some of them were pretty crazy. "Oh well".

Funnily enough, the Gamecube is a hundred bucks...

How gullible do they think people are?

But anyways, I have just recently unplugged my Xbox for the GC to play RE4 again. I just saw it sitting there and...yeah. Had to play again. And I still remain with my wimpy Memory Card. One of such memory cards is filled with THUG and THUG2 stuff. I went on crazy Park Making sprees one day. =/

I'm constantly switching my machines out. I have so many consoles, and so little power outlets.

I recently saw a regular PS2 memory card going for the same price as the GC's 1012 card, $30. Seemed a little ridiculous, then again GC stuff is always a little cheaper ... I guess?

I have no problem with connecting/disconnecting machines anymore mostly because its part of work now. I have to it at least once a week, move the Cube out of the way, plug in the XBOX. Move the XBOX, plug in the PS2. Move the Cube, XBOX, and PS2, plug in the XBOX 360. It's not tedious anymore.

But memory cards have evolved so little in the last few years, I wouldn't be surprised if every just starts marketing little external hard drives to replace them in a few years.

Won't find out until the next E3. I actually get to go this time.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have an entire line of stuff ready for all the systems. They are just bringing things out slowly so they can make money. It really makes me mad though, cause they are like, "this is the best out on the market and will be for a while." 2 days later something better comes out for the same price if not cheaper. That really makes me mad though you know? But anywho, thats all they are out for, is to make bloody money! lol

Me and my inferior memory card. I too, have had to make space for RE4. Good-bye Championship Season on NHL 2003...

I don't really play my Cube much anymore, don't like hooknig and unhooking all the bloody time, don't have enough floor space for that. And the other T.V has the SNES in it, which will NEVER be unplugged.

Unless I got to have the N64 in there, which is rare. Moogle has his point though, they coulda made this the starting memory card, but they just keep upgrading to get people to buy more. They're probably holding alot out on us, but just want to keep slowly upgrading to get our pocket green.

Most of the cards we use at work are the NGC MC 1012 cards because we've got a lot to store. More than you could ever possibly imagine. So, they are the greatest cards. But, we still prefer the originals as well, since we have to test those too.

Yea maybe nintendo will come out with a new one for the Revolution like a 2100 or something.. that would be crazy!! Imagine how much stuff you could save on that? thats like 2.1gig lol. That is alot of saves. I usually keep back ups of my important files on another memory card though. Have you ever thought about doing that? I does help.

Yeah, I just figured since I just seem to keep on buying GC games, and knowing the Revolution will be backwards compatible with GC games and memory cards, why not?

I know what you Mean Xeo A 1012 will be awsome for the huge mb taken files on some games. I might even get me 2 just for a backup.

Kind of makes me want to hit Nintendo over the head with a hammer. This should have been the ONLY memory card for the freaking system.

Really though, I have a regular 64mb card, which seems and feels almost completely useless now, and an 256mb card which is completely taken up (RE games take up a huge 8mb per save, I've been having to delete a ton of things to free up space recently).

So basically, if you play GC games, and own a lot, spend $30 and save your time, and everything for the 1012 card, because it actually gives you ... space!

Yeah, just a short rant / thing I wanted to post I guess.
