Today, was the day I played Checkers with death.
But on a serious note, I drove to school and my car does -not- have defrost, and it was pouring down extremely hard this morning ... so it was pretty dangerous. I looked at it as a game though, I got up behind people and just follow their lights. I could see well enough around my area to tell where I was, but looking straight out of my windshield was pretty blurry. It's kind of scary, because a few minutes before closing in on my school you have to drive up this small 2-lane road with hills, and that's when my windshield got really bad, but luckily I could see those lights. |

Actually, it hasn't rained that much around here in about 10 days -- save with the few sprinkles here and there a few days ago. Fall is coming closer and closer around here and you know what that means... * mumble, mumble * Yeah, snow is the just around the corner. It's been in the high 50s to low 60s for overnight weather for a about a week now. |

Yeah, what Rogue said (since we live in the same place)
Yesterday and the day before, especially the day before, it was almost cold... nice and cloudy in the morning, it was great... and today it was so fricken hot! It felt like mid-July all over again! Of course, I think it's just to punish the poor club members since we had to sit out in the sun trying to get new members today (notice that it is always really hot on Join A Club Day, Rogue?) |

For a while it was REALLY hot (obviously since it's still summer) then it was slightly cooler and today it was just ridiculously hot and humid. Well that's life.
So no, nothing unusual. |

Originally posted by Shanan Yeah, well Kansas has it's issues with Tornadoe's. It's one of the most common spots in the US where they occur. So, Spring and Fall always aren't so fun around here. |

Rains for 2 days, sunny for 5, rains for 2 days, sunny for 5, get the pattern? |

Try living down in Florida, that area is always full of hurricanes. Who else would want to live there?
Anyway, the area I lived is well-balance, although summer heat is quite a bitch and heavy snow winter is also a bitch too. Rain randomly come and go as they please. Overall, it is just a balanced-out weather. (And I don't live in Florida. I lived in MI.) |

Well here in KS, the weather has been pretty different for the past month or so.
For the past 2-4 weeks, it's been rainy, muggy, dark and groomy here. I'm not saying I don't mind it, since it easily gets rid of the heat and the smell of rain is great, but it's just different for KS. We were up until now in one of the worst drought's we've ever been in, but not anymore. The past couple of days I've had to drive to school in the rain (which kind of annoys me). So, how has the weather been around your area? |
