Every time I talk about my accomplishments, I feel like a big-headed blowhard, but I suppose I'll just talk about the accomplishments of the past week. There's too much and it's too boring to just list these things. So the last 7 days:

- Finished article for the Cirque du Rockeil program. Cirque du Rockeil being the 30th anniversary Las Vegas convention for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The article was an interview with Mick Rock, the man who shot the '70s, and has received rave reviews from multiple colleagues thus far.

- Won the first ever Frank del Olmo Impact Award for the most hard hitting stories that would affect the community. We beat out USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, Chapman, and every other university that was up for this award. We also won general excellence for a college paper.

- Received a signed copy of Karney #1 from Walt Flanagan and Bryan Johnson and a signed Chasing amy script from Kevin Smith.

- Got to see Rainbow Carnage and befriend them.

- Scouts in the audience at Rocky this week announced that they will be hiring us on to perform at the Hollywood Bowl in September.

- Successfully scared many people, got Purple-haired groping girl back, and snagged a few passes for various events.

Well that's all I can remember of the last 7 days.

IT's kind of a long story. BAsically, I'm dance comissioner for Student Gov. I was having a bad day the day of the dance, uberly stressed, and our principal wouldn't leave me alone. She thought I was gonna kill myself or something. I ran away from her and three of our campus police officers chased me down and hand cuffed me.

as far as scars go...I have 76

My biggest accomplishment would be 2 things:

1. Working my way out of the special education classes and into regular classes.

2. Scoring certified genious on the literature portion on my intellegence test.

That reminds me of the days I would try to count as high as i could, just for fun. I got to around 1,200 (i was 6 or 7).
I think my biggest accomplishment is being accepted to Blue Lake fine arts camp for the second year in a row. Many people from the U.S. and the world come here for its exellent instruction. Hmm, i also saw over 250 american episodes of Dragonball Z (11/12ths of the series), which can't be compared to the original but is still fun to watch.

Oh, new accomplishment:
I managed to finally count the number of scars I have. Not counting acne scars (cuz they suck) I have 52, 6 of which are from accidental injury. I don't scar easy.

I won five writing contests Two of which were outside of my comfort zone as far as writing goes. I ran a seven minute mile consistently. I got to write a speech for the end of the year ceremony. I got chased by the police on campus and started a field hockey boycott...Hey it's dangerous

My biggest accomplishments were...

1. Anything to do with Senate. I was Secretary/Treasurer for the 2nd semester in a row, & Christina (President/one of my best friends) & I worked our butts off for a lot of stuff in Senate.

2. David Swallow Jr. event put on by the Native American Club. That was awesome, even though I was sick that day hehe

3. Performing with my guitar ensemble at the CSUF Guitar Festival. That was a HUGE deal for me, I get such bad stage fright!

Well, when I was on my last mission here at McCoy I was a logistical representative (aka supply guy) who wa responsible for a lot of stuff. A lot of expensive army equipment. Over $600,000 worth of equipment. Ranging from laser tag equipment to buildings to cars and trucks. Yeah, it's a lot, but here's the catch: anything that was lost was paid for out of my pay check. The laser equipment was a biggie. Each set costs a few hundred dollars, if not a thousand. I was also responsible for issuing everything out and getting it returned. So if any of those were missing, then I was knee deep in..... [goo]. And at one point I thought there was one set missing. I gotta tell you, I was nothing less than worried for a while. It was my first time taking care of that much stuff. That's a pretty huge leap from nothing. So I'm proud say that in the end everything was accounted for. Even got an Army Achievement Medal. Hooah!

Passing C++ Programming?

Other than that, I'm not so sure. I'm not much of an overachiever when it comes to school.

I can say however I've been acknowledged a few times here and there for my good work in my Intro to Gaming class, with my modeling and level design's that I've done. I'd say that's an accomplishment myself.

PS: I have a lot of friends in Japanese, and I've seen them talking to each other in Japanese in the hallways as if it were their primary language.

Okay, here's a topic for you guys to consider: What has been the biggest accomplishments of the past school year for you? I know most of you are still in school, so this question can probably go a long way. This can apply to people who go to college as well. I know that I'm not going to school, but the biggest accomplishment for me (so far this year) is actually getting the courage to speak with my friend in Japanese. I think I'm getting better little by little, and the more I talk to her (and make mistakes), the more I'm confident to keep going.
