Yeah I agree on that fan boy part, there are a lot of them there  ....
But the reviews are very deep, xeo's right its not like "this album PWNS mad insane guitar perfect score!!!!111" They actually write an essay style review which is nice, but I did'nt agree with there load/reload album reviews
I still cant believe Night wish is the #1 top band by popular vote, there cool in all but there not that great really. i dont consider Iron maiden "heavy metal" More like Hard rock there not all that metally. |

It's a good site, but I honestly think it houses a lot of fanboys. Just look at the top bands there.  (And wow, fans of [Some band] also like "Iron Maiden", think I've seen that one 20+ times there)
But yeah, and the sites just really nicely laid out. You can view bands sorted by genre's, and see what fans of [Some band] also like. And there's a few samples. Albums are sorted very nicely also. I also like how they're very critical on reviews. 9's, are very rare there from what I've seen, so they're pretty tough on reviews and you won't just be seeing a "I love this, a 10 out of 10!" kind of stuff. |

No im not advertising 
But this is the Site of the metal gods, go visit it now. i found a link to it in one of xeos threads... ive been checking out the site and its very complete. I was reading the comments on some of my fav bands, and they are some real metallica haters out ther . I cant believe how many people acutally hated the black album, and how many thought they died when cliff was killed
But its ok now they got Ozzys bass Rob
