Well, honestly that's not too bad of a Graphics Card. But maybe for this game ... yeah.

I'm not too sure, I think the 9800 Pro has gone down a bit, since the GeForce 6800 is kind of the "top of the line" card now.

I guess you'll have to look it up or something.

I saw screenshots for this, and I was very frightened...In an aweing kind of way. Anyway, my friend will be getting this and I will be playing it at his house. If I do not get a new computor to play this game, I will cry...

I wonder what items with enchantments on them will look like, I dont' want some lame colorful lines moving about like in Morrowind. I want a badass aura of freakin' awesomeness on my armor

Well this game will be for the next generation systems, that's why the graphics are beyond anything we've seen before.
(sorry if that's stating the obvious. )

But yeah, although I'm not as big as a Elder Scrolls fan as some of you guys, I did play a good bit of the 3rd game, and liked it.

The only thing I really didn't like, was the combat. And it just really pissed me off when I'd die agains't a rat, because I couldn't hit it after 20 swings.

That's all I'm hoping for in this game, is an improved combat system. Other than that, everything else this game is packing looks incredibly amazing.

The graphics do seem scary though. In one of my older Game Informers, there was a picture of a table with about 30 different items on it, and each of them could be interactive with and moved around.

Another high quality game I'm really looking forward to. Same goes for Age of Empires 3, it comes out second half of 2005 (AOE does).

Tamarian, everything will be much more realistic, combat and fighting moves, stealth and stealthy combat, magic and the magical uses you will be able to do, also very awesome magic attacks I hear.

And the pondering the use of the lock spell, I lock my castle's, my vampire dungeon, my house, and my lake home with 100 pt lock spells when i'm not home. That and I have guards that patrol the areas and vampires with slaves to drink from inside. Yes, those are all mods. I love those mods very much and hopefully the vampire system in Oblivion will be much better, hopefully even 20 times better than the morrowind mod Vampire Embrace. Now Vampire Embrace kicks some serious ass XD

All in all, game looks spectacular, hear that there will be options to tone down the intensity of the graphics so I will be able to run it. But, I will eventually be getting a job and then I can buy an even better graphics card

Heh, those graphics are like GODLY. So realistic.

But I don't wanna see the required computer specs.....

But I'm pretty sure it'll own (if it's anything like Morrowind)

Those NPC fuckers steal from me and it'll be the last thing they do, aside from getting hacked to bits with a daikatana.

What? I'm a violent person in videogames, ok? *ponders the new use of the Lock spell*

I'm looking forward to this game. And those who know me personally know that I NEVER look forward to any game. Wonder if they'll make mages better...

"Oblivion features a groundbreaking new AI system, called Radiant AI, which gives non-player characters (NPCs) the ability to make their own choices based on the world around them. They'll decide where to eat or who to talk to and what they'll say. They'll sleep, go to church, and even steal items, all based on their individual characteristics. Full facial animations and lip-synching, combined with full speech for all dialog, allows NPCs to come to life like never before."
Sweet.
