Now, the only issue I have is that I actually have to get in shape because I applied for a physical intensive position with the Department of Homeland Security to be a US Border Patrol Agent. So, it's time to get out and start doing stuff rather than not doing stuff. I don't like running (mostly because I am an asthmatic), and I love tennis. So, I guess I'll be out on the courts again and possibly into doing the cardio stuff (which means I will be running anyway) so that I can get back up to the level I was at when I started TSA two years ago. Yay!

But, I get to carry a gun if I get hired...

wow, i didn't think it was possible for anyone to weigh less than me here, but 103 beats my 107-110. I'm about 5'6''. I guess i'm in shape right now, since i'm in track (crap stamina but i can long jump well, in the 15-foot range)and skilled at DDR, but I have nearly no upper body strength and probably couldn't lift two-thirds of me. My forearms often show a multitude of veins which is very creepy to some people, i've always thought that was strange.

Oh I feel you there Katie, I used to say I was like a cheetah: can sprint rather fast, but only for a few seconds. My endurance sucks... so at least you're not alone.

Gods, I don't even remember being 5'1", I seemed to go from 4'8" to 5'2" in the blink of an eye. Of course, I went from 5'6" to 5'9" or so like that too, all of a sudden I was taller than my oldest brother and equal in height to Pockets, who's 5'9". Which I find funny because height measurement things still say I'm just under 5'7" and that he is 5'9", yet we stand barefoot back to back and we're the same height. Maybe I slouched.

Gah...sry...I didn't mean like that way. I didn't read over my post before submitting it...WHat I meant by out of shape was things like stamina and such. Unless someone pisses me off, I'm the slowest runner, and I'm not all that fast. I'm not athletic in the least bit, even with hockey, I never was. It was just quick reflexes.(and a few fights here and there ^^;; But when it came to things like the drills we had during practices, I couldn't keep up...I can't swim fast, or anything...like that kind of outta shape.

And believe it or not, I was 5'1 when I was 11. I used to be considered tall for a while there from like 4th to 6th or 7th grade. Then I just stopped growing pretty much, except for that inch. I have weighed in at 120lbs a few times too. **shrugs** My weight flipflops so much and so fast it's not even funny

Katie, I really don't see that as out of shape. I was 5'2" when I was 11 and I weighed 120lbs. It was sad because I was taking Tae Kwon Do at the time, and when I wore the chest protector for fights I looked like a damn barrel.

No, it's good. I wish I could say the same, but I've actually reviewed my body weight versus height and structure, and I'm not as out-of-shape as I thought I was. I'm actually doing okay, I just need to exercise more. I used to be able to (and this an accomplishment for me) run for about twenty minutes without having to resort to my inhaler to breathe. Now, I can run from one side of campus to my car and need the inhaler just to be able to stand up. But, it has been two years, and I did just recently cancel my non-used membership to the gym. I only went to ogle the guys anyway and watch TV while doing the cardio.

I, amazingly, can still do pushups, which I didn't fully learn how to until I had a personal trainer for a year. Besides, who actually does push ups when the teacher is turned around? No one. Not even me. We just counted, and he knew it.

Lately though, it's just been a whole concentration on working on my internal energies rather than my external muscular thingies. Gotta work on the drivetrain before I expect the full machine to function...speaking of which, I have to check my car's coolant systems now.

I'm in the funny area where I'm not IN shape, but I'm not out of it either. I've been working out on my upper body strength a lot lately, because it's my major weak area. I've always been strong with my legs, neck, and back, but not my shoulders or arms. (Goes back to when I was little and was heavily involved in gymnastics) I can keep up with most people, except for those damned track people *glares at his friends at school* Right now I'm 6'1" and weigh in at around 203-208, it varies depending on the day really. But so far, I'm just trying to get rid of the last bit of gut I've got left, and trying to up my endurance and strength a few notches.

Anyway, I have muscular definition as well, under the layer of protective fat. Instead, I'd prefer to gain a muscular boyfriend than the muscle myself. I can continue to play tennis and keep myself moderately fit, and I only need to be able to take down some random person that decides to steal from my store. Just long enough to get the handcuffs on them, then I can point and laugh (internally, we could get sued if I do it out loud).

Im 6'5 and 300 pounds. My doctor yelled at me once about my diet. But then he saw that im supposed to get around 7 foot tall so he said really I would have no problem in the long run. The diet craze is way overrated, the way people do things to themselves because of their physical appearence. I say you have to change the way you feel about yourself before you go changing anything else.

Well, Shaddow's got me. I'm 5'2 and 110lbs. Keeping up with and raising pretty much, 11 kids pays off...though I am a bit out of shape. Even with hockey, I always had to hold back because of my knees and ankles. I was 2. Someone said the word "shit" downstairs, as I was walking down the stairs. I repeated it. My mom was behind me. She smacked me, and it made me fall. Broke both knees and ankles, so they've always been bad, and always will be. So that's why I have to hold back in almost everything I do or they start giving me problems...and prolly the reason why I'll always be pretty much outta shape.

Im 5'11 and I weigh usually inbetween 140 and 145, I have really high metabolism too so the only thing that will really put some fat on me is beer and usually thats just an enlarged gut, but i can do like 35 sit ups and that gut would go away and turn into a six pack again over night. Im not really out of shape, i dont lift or anything, but i play soccer all the time and I play Center Midfield so Im constantly running, I have really no upper body strength but i have a pretty descent muscle, the strangest thing are my pecks, for some reason I have really muscular pecks and abs but i dont really work out my mid body that much either, My body kinda makes itself muscular while I sleep at night, its freaky >.O

Yep, that's right... and I'm prolly one of the fastest runners in my school, and I'm not lacking in upper body strength either... *grins*

Anyway, I get most of my abs exercise when I'm sick, all the coughing makes them ache, but the medicine takes care of that later...speaking of which...

I am extremly skinny and I stil am out of shape. I get tured easily, huffing uffing, and doing not too muc physical labor. Granted I am usually running around like a maniac, but until I get my second wind I like die!

I can usually stay active as long as I am moving around and having fun, once I become bored, I become tired. It is a constant battle.

I ment Elias, not you. I was still at a decent 160lbs when I was with you. Still fat, but actually in the healthy range.

I'm quite the opposite of most of you. I have been trying, and succeeding with gaining weight for most of my life. I am 5'10 and a couple years ago I weighed around 125. I really couldn't defend myself. So years later a 75lbs I can pretty much at least restrain anyone when they are trying to attack me.

Alright, I'll be honest here: I'm about 5'8" and I currently (as of a minute ago) weigh 206lbs. Yep, technically I am obese. Yay me, I hate my fucking body! Granted, I don't look like I weigh that much because I'm tall for a girl, but I sure as hell don't look skinny. I never weighed this much until I started dating my ex, who encouraged the laziness. In 10th grade I was down to 150... of course, that was with a very active PE class and eating only once per day because my mom forced me to.

I try to get in shape, but my lovely accident prone body doesn't seem to like that. I twist my ankle or screw up my knee every time I try. I played tennis my first year of college, it was fun... until some fuckers broke into my ex's car and stole our rackets.

Yeah, don't mind me, I'm in one of my more depressed/pissed off moods. Go back to bragging about your thinness and leave the fat girl to herself.

I used to walk to school every single day (2 miles there, 2 miles back) from 6th till 8th grade, almost every day in high school (1.5 miles there, 1.5 miles back) from 9th until senior year. So, my legs are a bit more developed than the rest of my body. With TSA, I lifted and hauled bags around daily weighing between 45 to 108 lbs. So, the strength in my arms increased as well.

I'm a fast typist, so the tendons tied back to the muscles that control my fingers along the keyboard are fairly well developed as well. While playing tennis last year, I actually toned up a bit, but since I suffered through two injuries in the last two years, I haven't played or execised much since then. I'm starting to get back into tennis mostly because it's the only sport I like, and it's the only sport that forces me to run (after the ball). By the by, I average about 50 to 108 WPM...it's a broad range, but it all depends on my mood and how much sugar I've had. Caffeine makes me sleepy. Speaking of which, I need to take my meds now. Bronchitis.

Somehow I knew you were going to brag about your bodybuilding thingies.
