I was looking on the internet today looking for free games to download(Yes, I am a cheap bastard). I came upon a really interesting game called NavyField. My interest got the best of me and I decided to download it. I've got to say this is one of the best pick up and play games ive ever...played. Registration is quick and simple despite being developed by a Korean software company. The installation was also quite a breeze, taking only about 15 minutes to download and setup. The graphics are dated, but they look relatively fine for a 2-D game. Now onto gameplay. You get to own, name, and manage your own ship and even hire personel. You then take your ship and join a game with other players and their vessels. The goal of almost every map is to destroy the other fleets ships(The developers promise more modes in the future). You can play a map with up to 6 different teams, and each team can consist of 20+ ships, or a map with 2 teams of about 60 making a battle of 120 player ships. A quick tutorial helps you understand most of the basics, so dont worry. Controls are a bit iffy though, and take a few battles to get used to. Overall I think this is a solid title to have on your computer, because its a quick pick up and play game. My alias is Nightcaptain and I own a Frigate named NightProwler. PM me if you join and want to battle. Hope to see you there.
EDIT: Im an idiot for not including a link...You can get it at Fileplanet here: http://www.fileplanet.com/korean/ Or from their main website: http://navyfield.com/ |
