Well, as long as we don't hear any DBZ voices, Naruto won't be doomed beyond! hell.

Yeah, Vash - Naruto is my biggest complaint. I don't see how that would work out at all, even if the actor tried his best to sound like a kid ... it just seems way out of place.
But I completely disagree with Kakashi - Spike. Spike's voice is deep and cocky, while Kakashi and his attitude is kind of a laid back I don't care slithering kind of voice. For instance, if Shikamaru were older, I'd say Spike would fit his voice much better than Kakashi, because it fits the character too. (Hopefully that made some sense ) |

I dont know why people are ragging on the dubs. I jsut scored on some free clips off a site and it looks really awesome.

Johnny Yong Bosch as Naruto (Vash from Trigun) Mark Hildreth as Sasuke (Heero from Gundam Wing) Rachael Lillis as Sakura (Misty from Pokemon) Steven Jay Blum as Kakashi (Spike from Cowboy Bebop) Eric Stuart as Gaara (Kaiba from Yu Gi Oh) Source Am I supposed to laugh? I can't picture ANY of those characters with those kind of voices. This is easily going to be one of the worst dubs ever. |

I doubt i'll enjoy whatever the game is as much as others. It won't have many characters and I doubt it will be as fun as the japanese games for Gamecube and Ps2. (Which I already own.)
It's okay though....I'm sure a Narutard that lives by me will buy it. And I'll give it my overly biased review.:giggle: |

There are so many questions to how their going to do the Naruto stuff. I'm actually fearful yet excited to see what they do to the series. I'm just going to hope that later on they stick a uncut version on adult swim like they use to do with anime back in the day when toonami ran throughout the week.
The Naruto game I cant wait for thought. It just seems like it will be a great fighting game. I could really care less about the merchandise. Normally I would just get it off ebay and even with local retailers, ebay may still be the best choice. With all that said and done ill have my fingers crossed and hope for the best. It should be coming out this summer. |

Hot Topic now has exclusive rights as a Naruto retailer.
I can't say i'm happy with this.....at all.
Bandai is also making a USA exclusive game for Ps2 and PsP. We'll see how that goes... |

Now you and I know that no mainstream channel would ever do that. Too much of viewer alienation. Most of the American Public wants movies in a language that they can understand. Even the freaking Anime Network, THE ANIME NETWORK, the 24/7 anime cable channel that you have to pay extra for dubs everything. Seriously. It will probably be dumbed down though to pander to ther 12year old boy audience. Shame really. |

There's a commercial out though now for Toonami, it's absolutly horrendous. Just look it up, or watch Toonami and look out for it, it'll make you want to cry in sadness. |

Wow... they're pronouncing his name... NA - RU - Toh... it's going to be crap... I have been watching it recently and I can't even imagine what they're going to do to prevent the blood and violance... but... hell... they did pretty well with One Piece... they took all the blood out and left little to no trace... but It's just not going to be the same without the blood and violence.... It makes me sad when things like this happen... plus... how long do you think it's going to take for them to get through 125 episodes? |

I don't know how they're going to do the Haku/Zabuza arc. I have a feeling that they're going to make Haku female. Androgynous characters don't fare well on Toonami. |

I think it will be the next DBZ. Shonen jump has mentioned allready that its a huge hit in there Magizene......im sure it will do just fine. |

Meh, I probably just won't ever watch it. I don't think it'll ruin the show for me, but I just hope it doesn't become the next "DBZ" craze-alike anime out there. I've heard they've only licensed about 60 episodes or so, but still, I wouldn't doupt it's success, and that'll probably push them to buy out more of the show ... 
What's next? Bleach?
I have not been happy with the recent licensing going on: Naruto, Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7, Getbackers, Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo, and more. Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo, will also be on Toonami. Now THAT show is already ruined. It has a ton of Japanese terms in it that make it funny half the time, and translating it over is just going to butcher the show. |

Toonami doesn't control how the show is edited. The licensing company does. And considering that the company that licensed Naruto, also has Hamtaro and Inuyasha licensed. I think it's safe to say that it will be butchered.....But there's always hope.... |
