Well I look at it this way.
Sure they lost Rare, but Rare didn't really take anything with them. (Banjo and Kazooie, but big deal if you ask me ... oh yeah and Perfect Dark )
But Nintendo has Retrogames now, who we all know did the masterful Metroid Prime and Prime 2, I just hope we see more from Retrogames soon.
They were supposed to be working on an RPG, but Nintendo basically shut them down with that because they wanted a Metroid game (I'm not complaining), but who knows what they're working on now?
|Revolution (or whatever it's gonna be called), I'm gonna get.
If only Nintendo could get Rare back =\
|Anyone been keeping up with the recent information lately, with all the next generation systems?
So far from what I've read, the Nintendo Revolution (still the codename) and the PS3 will be backward capatible with previous systems. Yes, Nintendo's system will be backward compatible with GC games. I'm unsure about the Xbox 2 / Xenon though.
Talk about the Revolution
Lot of info, but Nintendo seems like they're really wanting to change their current status of -ok- around.
Xbox 2 talk
All the systems seem like they're going to rock, so I'll probaly end up getting them all again ... there goes a ton of money.
Rumors say that Perfect Dark 2 / After Dark could be a possible release title with the Xbox 2, if that's true, I'm sold, if not Xbox's system is probably the one I can wait the most for.
The PS3 just seems awesome, and plus my PS2 is just crapping out lately, it would be nice to be able to play games that I can't play and finish them. (Xenosaga)
Nintendo, well I have my faith in them. Let's just hope for a good Mario console release this time, unlike what the GC got (We had to wait, then we got Sunshine ...).
I can't find the PS3 article, so if someone wants to post that or more articles feel free to.
I'm excited, but seriously, Xbox 2 releasing by the end of this year? That still seems so early ...
