Mine is just completely meaningless LOL I like angels, so I came up w/ AngelBayB. Yes I can spell btw. It was my very first screen name on AOL too. I have 49, b/c 4 & 9 are my lucky numbers. Sigh, very uninteresting.

The name, Xeios Ballain, I created myself. To me it reminds me of the power a writer has, and the amazing coolness of ones creation. It surprises me to think of everyone who came before me, who dd not have this name. This simple collection of five letters, can mean one unique thing. My creation summed up in one little package...
GuardianOni
Posts: 18/472
I go by the name GuardianOni, because it is a fairly accurate description of my self.

The word guardian is what I want to be. To all my friends I am a guardian. Someone who will protect them, and care for them. Someone who will go out of their way to help them. I want to protect... That?s just what I want to do...

And the word Oni is Japanese for demon. (So are like half a dozen others but Oni was the one I picked.) And the name demon is a fairly accurate description of me as well. I'm big, strong, tough, ugly, and ferocious when pressed.

So put together I am Guardian Demon. If you ask my friends they will tell you this is accurate.

A always joke with my friends that it's better to have a demon as a guardian rather than an angel. Because when the chips are down a demon is more willing to do the dirty work, and is less afraid of getting dirty, or messed up. Because lets face it... Demons are already messed up.

Granted, no one really knows me here, but I'll have my little input anyhow.
Over the last few times I've been on boards, I've used names, and they've morphed over time.
This last one I just came up late night when I decided I'd give this board a go.
I saw a topic I wanted to reply to, and found that I had to be registered (Damn no guest posting But I suppose that's a good thing, from what I've seen on other boards out there)
So I came up with Truth/Serum. The catalyst to help people say what they really feel.
Note that the ones I posted in has no real truth to them
(Memories, etc.)
So yeah, I think that was longer than it was suppsed to be

A while back I was Penobapower, which cam from the epic manga i wish to get going, Shards of Penoba. Penoba was a nickname that some kid had last year and was really funny for no reason, and me, Sasuke and Tai unanimously decided to n ame the manga after it. Van Rhanell is my sim character's name, and one of the main SoP char.s. Van just sonded like a good short name for a cat-race and Rhanell is a rearrangement of my last name, but I added an 'L' and took out an 'e'.

At first it was StigmaShadow. (Any Tool fan should be familiar with "46&2" and "Intolerance") The Shadow part comes from Carl Jung and his "Jungian" Philosophy. The stigma came from "Intolerance". I guess you could say a Shadow that has bad Karma? And the Brunken Drawler (Drunken Brawler) came from WarCraft III : Frozen Throne.

Well, since my name is currently Sparda, there really isn't much of an explanation behind it. I simply like the name because it sounds really cool. If it has any meaning, then I am not aware of it. What I do know is that the name Sparda derives from the Spartans, Sparta, and/or Spartacus; all which relate to some warrior or warrior group. The thing is, I just really like Vincentian names. So I simply made a whole list of them and chose the one which sounded the best to me. So I chose Sparda.

Now the ChaoticDeath is an entirely different story...one which I will tell at another time.

Pockets
Posts: 585/838
My name is pockets. That's what my friends call me in the real world. I got it for two reasons. One, I usually wear outfits that have a large number of pockets on them. Cargo pants with six pockets and a jacket with at least three to six pockets if it's my jacket or my trench. I've put together an outfit with 15 pockets in it and I had somethin in each and every one of them.

Another reason is a friend of mine once watched me walking through a gas station to see if I could swipe something. I picked stuff up, put it down looked through the cooler and stuff and then I bought a pack of gum. Outside he was like, "why didn't you try to swipe something?"

I stopped and pulled four candy bars two packs of chips a soda and a bottle of Bacardi Silver from my sleeves pants pockets and inside pocket of my coat and he never saw me pick up a single thing.

Needless to say one of my favorite D&D characters to play is a Rogue. lol.

Yaaaay!! Story time.

It all started back in early highschool, 9th grade. I rented (and eventually bought) an underrated game called Secret of Evermore for the SNES. An RPG. In this game you start out with a bazooka and lose it shortly after, but get it back later. There are 3 different rounds with this weapon: Thunder Ball, Particle Shot and Cryo Shot (the last being the strongest) At the time I didn't know what Cryo meant, but it sounded like a cool word. I was, asn still am, fond of cool and originl names and words. So, for an Earth Science Project I had to do involving drawing a city with gridlines and such, I name my lake on the north side of the town "Cyro Lake" Aha, notice how the spelling of Cryo was changed? The "r" and the "y" are switched around. That was a complete mistake. One that I never noticed until a couple years later.

So with that in mind, it came time for me to take my first steps into the world of online chatting. At first I could think of a name to come up with. I thought back to the word "Cyro" and mentioned it to my younger brother. He thought it was a smooth sounding SN. So, I used the name "cyro." on the chatroom (which was the now gone Z.com, later changed to Q.com) I added the "." because I needed a name with 5 characters. So that was the name I used for a couple other things, including my current email that I've had for several years now. After a while I grew bored with having just Cyro, so I added another word to that- Star. "Cyro Star" was born. The only place I really used that was for a the Armored Core series and a few other games, and on the MSN game network. I played chess quite often. One special thing I did with that name is make an emblem, which I still hold in my heart. It's called the Cyro Star.

Again as a year or two flew by I grew bored with that name. It sounded a bit too kiddish for me. My creativity took part in helping find a better suffix. Teh word Zero sounds cool, but like Xeogred, replacing the "Z" for an "X" made it look much better. So I stuck "Xero" to my Cyro name and got "Cyro Xero". This happened about 3 years ago, maybe 4. I've used this name all the way from when I first discovered Acmlm's board up until this very post. I don't think I'll ever change it since so many people know me by this name. That and it's stuck with me all these years.

A year and a half ago I gave my name a meaning- one who is calm like ice and very energetic like lightning and energy. If you hold your mouse over my sig (for you IE users you will get a little message saying something about it. That meaning is very much true for me.

Now THAT was a story.

I should have stuck with Malons knight cause in Ocarina of Time when you get the mask of truth you can listen to the gossip stone outside the temple of time and it says Malon is waiting for a knight in shining armor to come and sweep her away and that is why i call myself malons knight

I used to go by MasterSephiroth.

In short, I became sick of that name.

- Replayed FFVII, realized it wasn't as great as I thought originally.
- Same thing for Sephiroth, he's not that great of an enemy.
- It was unoriginal.

I just made up Xeogred out of the blue. Originally, I went as far as looking to a dictionary for a cool name, and was hoping I'd find a good "Latin" term that hinted toward, being a god, or power, or something.

And "X's" are the coolest letters in the Alphabet if you ask me, but I just decided ... "Zeogred" but hey, and X in place of the Z looks much better!
