I already have one son named Michael Seger. His first name is b/c of my uncle & my ex-husband's uncle. His middle name, Seger, was my father's middle name.
If I have girls, I like these names: Elisa (my aunt's name, she was my hero) Natalie (my mom's name) Grace Boy names: Donald (my father's name) Alexander (I don't know why) |

My girlfriend has this wierd affiliation with the nam: Vladamir.
It's insane, and thats what she wants to name her kid. And I'm like "Uh, hell no. Kids..Fuck that." And she screams and gets pissed off at me... |

It is my deeply held belief that anyone who would name their child after a video game/anime character/mythological figure/obscure religious figure/element should be disemboweled with a dull, rusty butter knife. Let's think of the children, people! |

Originally posted by Elara well, i dont think it would really matter right? by the time they're grown up, no one would really remember anyways. plus, the majority of people dont even watch anime anyways... so they wouldnt know, unless inu yasha is watched nationwide by everyone, but i doubt it's too big on the regular folks. so yeah... |

If you were to name the boy inuyasha, now that would be just plain creepy having kagome and inuyasha in the same household and as family. |

It's a nice name, but I really don't think that it is wise to name your kid after an anime character like that since it will most likely lead to teasing. However, if it really seems to fit, or say your spouse is Japanese (I know so many of you wish for that), then meh. I'm still just going back to my ex who wanted to name his son Sephiroth... so yeah. |

You should just name her Megumi then. i have to say that I like Makura's names. The girls especially. Theyre very original and I like oringality.
I haven't been to creative on boys names, but for girls I've come up with some pretty good ones. Boy: Tom the 5th. (Like Spyware, it's the tradition of keeping it going, especially since I'm Tom the 4th) Terrax (Name from my stories) Jeras (Name from my stories) Dilan (Because it was voted #1 sexiest name to have for a son as a single father) Girl: Schala Ara Aveda Astralasia (it's a bit long, but it can be shortened to "Astral" or "Astra") |

boy: Plight
girl: Tiffany, or Megan, or if god-forbid, Haruka... lol oh, we gotta explain? Plight because it sounds kewl, and i guess it sounds like a guy's name. def 1: A situation from which extrication is difficult especially an unpleasant or trying one. def 2: A solemn pledge of fidelity. tiff because it sounds like a rich name =p. megan because i guess it's the closest english name for megumi... O.o; |
