You know, over the years I kept going, "Whoa.. I've been at this for ______ years?!" and then a moment of feeling like I've been wasting my life passes through me when I considered how little I was doing. I had started frequenting these boards my first year of college, which was itself a long journey. The community college system in California really aims to keep you there.
It's been 15 years here for me. This place is still here, and it's where I've come to dump my depression and anxiety since it's so frowned upon to do it on social media where it'll be considered attention-seeking behavior. I feel like I'm my real self here. |
