I'm seconding this. Dead bodies never bothered me much but certain pictures of them instill a sense of dread and I can't get them out of my mind for far too long.

When you see it in person, you're more likely to know everything that happened. In picture form, you have a still image and little background information, leaving your mind to make up the rest.
