You know what I miss about New Year's in California? Hanging out with people that drink.
So far, 2013 has been defined by the cats being annoying as hell for no apparent reason. This, of course, means that we are all doomed. |

I'll probably start up the usual meme thread about the past year. I'm a sucker for meaningless surveys.
Drove home from the High Desert on Monday, after going to places like Manzanar internment camp and Burro Schmidt's tunnel. Went straight to our friend's new year's eve party, where they had this Mason jar of moonshine and I was the only one willing to drink it. It was a good night. |

We had to fight with our bottle of wine on New Year's Eve, and I had to drive home in a snow storm... that was my eventfulness for the night.
So far it seems like the same old stuff. I am hopeful that this year will be better than the last, since last year really sucked. Oh well, onward! |

Happy new year! Had an awful day at work and didn't sleep a wink last night... so I stayed in. Guess it's safe.
