Yeah, the commercial one was the other category that just jumped out and smacked me in the face. Granted, I do think that Chrysler commercial deserves some kind of recognition if it is the one I think it is (with Clint Eastwood)... but not a fucking Emmy! |

Yeah, seriously? They have awards for pretty much anything that gets put on TV. They have Emmys for ads, for crying out loud. I thought that was only reserved for the Clio Awards. |

The nominations came out today.
Link I'm simultaneously happy and annoyed with them. Happy to see a lot of things I love up there, but not even one nom for House M.D. following it's final season? Really?! I mean, they've passed up Hugh Laurie every year, almost like a, "We've got tons of opportunities to give him best actor so we'll hold on him for now." Granted, House had a rough couple of seasons, but if Friday Night Lights could run away with as many awards as it had last year just because it was their last season, there should be some love for House. Guh.... |
