It's all over.
I turned to the Super Bowl near the end, and got the downer that was them talking about how heartbroken the Patriots' owner was, who apparently lost his wife over the summer and was reeeeeally wanting his team to win. Anyway, I'm watching the Puppy Bowl. |

I also hate football... I'm just glad it's not the Steelers this year. Nothing sucks worse than working at a supermarket on the weekend of the Superbowl, and the local team isn't even playing... I can only imagine how bad it'd be if they were.
That said, as sick as I am of hearing about both teams, I went with Patriots because most of the people here are going against them. Something about some record of old Steelers players with four wins being tied and they want to "preserve the legacy" or some stupid shit. So yeah, I went with the Patriots out of spite. Of course, I am most likely going to be doing homework or dicking about online during the game so it's not like I will really be paying attention anyway other than the commercials and maybe halftime if they have somebody halfway decent playing. |

I'm no football fan, but even I'm tired of the Patriots. Them and the Packers. Whenever they make it to the Super Bowl everyone around here acts like a total shit with Cheesehead mania. And I'm definitely no fan of the Raiders. So yeah, go Giants! |

My friends are all about the Giants and I guess I am too, with them kind of being the underdogs here. I'm so sick of the Patriots, haha. Hope it's a good game. |
