Nelrith and Elara have seen my other good news on FB for the day... but holy crap folks, my massive medical bill I racked up last year for that hernia surgery, was COMPLETELY WRITTEN OFF! Balance, $0!!!
I almost wanted to cry earlier today, lol. Wow, speechless. My car is still falling apart, but oh well! lmao, seriously I like don't even care... just hope I can figure out what the battery/charging issue is I'm having soon, either way my new work is so close it won't be a bad drive at all and something will work out I'm sure. |

@Kat: That's the other good thing, the place is only open 7:30am to 7:30pm, no weekends! So no matter what I'm probably getting some awesome shift. I wouldn't mind doing the crazy 7:30am to 3:30pm, haha. Beat traffic and everything, while having the day to myself. But I'll definitely take anything. The funny thing is how similar it looks and sounds to the job I had in 2009, only this place seems so much more relaxed and laid back. Like I lost track of how many mandatory Saturday's I worked in 2009, on top of overtime throughout the weeks off and on. But this place, the manager flat out said they had TWO mandatory Saturday's this year and two planned for next year... I literally almost laughed when she said that, haha. That's nothing compared to what I've been through. She also said some people often pickup extra hours throughout the week just because it's fun and easy work and they give out a lot of opportunities for overtime I guess. And the place is only like 5-10 minutes away... 3 freaking dollars more than what I made in 2009... I just can't believe it, lol. Someone pinch me! |

Yep, so stoked. This couldn't have come at a better time too with my car falling apart, I wasn't going to have money to renew my vehicle registration, family is poor as heck in general, so yeah. Talk about a mountain off my shoulders! Can't wait to live life again. |

Following the trend of December's good news for a lot of us...
I got a Pharmacy Tech 1 offer at CVS! 3 solid bucks higher pay than my last full time job, and the whole atmosphere from what I saw last week during the interview was amazing. Lots of cross training going on, people work their way up through the company, I am so stoked. I start on the 12th or 19th.  |
