I suddenly realized I totally missed your last post in here. I think when I started writing my post, Nelrith's was the last.
So yeah, vodka for SirAileron. No vodka for the rest of us unless it's in some cases it's mixed with other things.

Yeah, I have never really been into heavy on the vodka drinks either. I am always a fan of light on the vodka so it doesn't water down the taste. |

Hey, hey, no! I am totally IN my element, man.
My first legal drink was a White Russian. It was heavy on the vodka, and although it didn't taste bad, I pretty much just chugged it before heading to the next bar in my midnight pub crawl. Seemed like any other time I got one (especially at any Lebowski Fests since my 21st birthday), it was HEAVY on the vodka and I couldn't stand it. |

I like vodka based drinks, but I will never drink it straight. First time I got drunk was off of a screwdriver (vodka and orange juice).
Potato vodka is much better in my opinion. Blue Ice makes a nice one, though it is hard to get here... but I found a Pennsylvania-made brand that is actually amazing, though it is $30 a bottle, and the bottle is kinda small. Smooth, and totally tasteless. |

I've been drinking for a decade and even I hate vodka. It just burns and tastes terrible to me. I hear it gets better as you keep drinking it, but everything tastes better the more intoxicated you get.
While some liquors take honing your own taste in order to like them, you can always just find something you really like that you don't have to "get used to" with time. Not that we're peer pressuring you into drinking or anything. |

While they are pretty cool, I'm gonna be a party pooper. Those things would NEVER get properly cleaned. Other than that, they are sweeeet. Imagine if you could make a shot glass with a mold of your own face. |
