It pretty much was about 50 miles away from my house. There are youtube videos of it hitting Hamilton Alabama and that's not too far away from where I live.
The storms however were pretty devastating. 40% of GA residents don't even have power right now. |

Yeah... you would think that natural disaster in America would take precedence on American television... given that we fought a war and all to NOT be British.
I watched it online so I could skip the singing and sermons... took an hour long piece of footage and reduced it to ten minutes. |

Speaking of WBC... it's not that I wish them death, I would just be a bit happier if they died. Other than that, only violent extremists and greedy politicians fall under the same category in my book.
Back on topic, I'm really hoping that things are okay in Georgia, I haven't heard a single thing about it on the news because of the Royal Wedding clogging up all the air time - yes it's nice that they're getting married, no I'm not watching it. |

I can appreciate sarcasm and a dark sense of humor as much as the next person, but saying that some people don't deserve to live while a national tragedy is going is rather heartless.

Yeah these tornadoes have me a bit spooked as well. Someone that posts on Vizzed apparently was hit by the one in St. Louis, have not heard of anyone I know being in the path of the ones down in Georgia or Alabama yet... and I hope that no one was affected at all.
We have had tornado warnings and watches a few times since we moved here as well and I honestly think we are screwed if one hits nearby... I mean, modular house with no basement... yeah. |
