Whenever it gets to the lyric, "Everybody's lookin' for somethin'" I sing out "I am watching you through a camera." And who could forget this joke? EDIT: Found one of my favorite scenes with Quorra. It's not really spoilery (in fact it's pretty much just Olivia Wilde's character introducing herself), but if you want to go into Tron Legacy fresh, don't watch it. |

I loved this movie.
I am seriously being ruined by school though. I adore movies still, but I notice sooo much now. Stupid shit too. Such as, Journey's "Worlds Apart" is a VERY good song choice for Tron Legacy, and pretty much summarizes the entire fricken movie. XD And James Frain. <333 my "Tudors" actors. |

This movie felt very campy, in an awesome way. Absolutely loved it.
Can't believe it's so hit or miss. What are some people expecting here? I went in expecting fun, and that's exactly what I got. Also, Daft Punk. |

Saw it in IMAX 3D with some friends last night.
I wasn't a big fan of the first one. In fact, I don't even remember exactly how it ended. I'd seen it a few times when I was a kid, and then a couple times as an adult, but I only really remember like the lightcycle battle and then them escaping that in some way. Anyway, I liked Tron Legacy. My boyfriend and I laughed so hard on all the Dude-isms Jeff Bridges would randomly say. It was to the point that Brandon and I would quote The Big Lebowski back and forth corresponding with different scenes. I loved Olivia Wilde in this too. She's so cute and her character made me snicker a lot. The effects are really cool. The only thing was to make Jeff Bridges look younger they CG'd his face and it kinda got distracting from time to time. You can see what I'm talking about in the trailer below. I mean, it's completely understandable. How else were they going to get a young looking Dude. But like I said, I just kept getting distracted by it. There's a party scene with characters that really make me think they're trying to bring the '80s back. Very Blade Runner-ish. |
