Character Sheet:

Name: Ainslynn Keeley

Age:15

Appearance: About 5 foot even, lithe, petite stature. Cool gray eyes with black hair cascading ringlet curls about her waist. She is typically spotted in kneehigh boots and plaid skirts with plain, single colored, snug fitting tops, typically longsleeved. Her skin is an olive tone, and her voice is soft.

Parent: Athena

Magic Items: I wish for this item to be located on the class trip. It's going to be a cool colored stone of some sort. Something simple, but something one would not spot, let alone feel drawn to, unless they were paying attention and taking things in. I'll make sure the discovery is done tastefully. If my character is to be the daughter of the goddess of wisdom, then simply discovering the item in this manner is a quick nod to the idea of her vigilent mind as a descendant/offspring of Athena.

Background: Ainslynn comes from a family of mediocre standing. Never doing without the necessities in life, Ainslynn's parents were also able to devote their attentions to her, being as there was no excessive wealth to distract them. For reasons unknown (except to Athena herself), Ainslynn grew up in a home in which her father and "mother" knew nothing of Ainslynn being anything but the both of their's.

She was sent to school just like a normal child, but was usually well ahead of her fellow classmates academically. However, her mother, not wishing for Ainslynn to grow up too quickly, refused to allow her to skip grades, and private schools were beyond their financial means. So instead, they offered Ainslynn other activities to entertiain her mind. As a result, at a mere 15 years old, Ainslynn could be considered a master violinist, as well as proficient in other instruments, such as the flute, piano, and harp. She has a pension for solving puzzles and can think herself through almost any situation.

However, despite their attempts to provide their daughter with the best they could, Ainslynn's social skills suffered as a consequence. No matter how much she was coaxed, Ainslynn preferred her books, instruments, and puzzles, and the best way to spend those pasttimes was holed up in seclusion. While she is very eloquently spoken, and gracefull to boot, she still can't find the right words to say that would make her the right friends. After a while, Ainslynn simply accepted her status as the "shy girl."

Will give more info on what this stone's purpose is. Again, waiting for Phoenix's clarification first.

And I have approved

EDIT:
Also, my main character:

Name: Ethan Attarima

Age: 16

Appearance: Ethan has short black hair and light blue eyes. He usually dresses in darker clothing. He bears a scar on his forehead from a battle of Capture the Flag at camp.

Parent: Nyx (Goddess of Night)

Magic Items: A golden Drachma, used for luck. Heads gives him more luck, and tails will cause bad luck. He obtained this item on his first quest.

Background: Growing up, Ethan never understood where his mother was. His Father did the best he could raising him and his older brother, but was rarely home. Ethan started wearing all black as a sign of rebellion, and to hide in school. He never did well, and was diagnosed with ADHD and had reading problems.

At 13, a new kid named James moved to town and befriended Ethan. At first, it was innocent. They would go to Ethan's house and play videogames or read comics. Until James turned into a storm spirit and tried to kill Ethan, killing his brother instead when he ran in to see what was happening.

It was then that two kids a bit older than him ran into the room with bronze swords and killed the creature. Ethan was taken back to Camp Halfblood, where he learned that his mother was a goddess and he was a demigod with magic powers. The Greek Gods were alive.

Ever since, Ethan has been at camp training, waiting for the the Oracle to awaken again and give a new quest. It has been over a year since the last....

Name:Vincent Rigle

Age:14

Appearance: Short, around 5'8. Thin with brown hair, cropped short. Usually wears form fitting clothing. Tight jeans, tight shirts, converse sneakers, and an army flight jacket. Vincent has glasses with semi-thick frames.

Parent:Hermes

Magical Items:
Key-This old ancient key allows Vincent to enter almost any locked door. The key will change size, shape, color, and age depending on the lock. When not in use it looks like an old gray skeleton key.
Box-This item allows Vincent to steal large quantities of items. Vincent will place what he wishes to keep inside of the box, which then folds, and compacts and is kept in a jacket pocket. Vincent can choose which contents to remove from the box at whichever time he wants.

Background: Vincent was raised by his single waitress mother, who could barely afford to feed herself let alone him. Vincent soon learned that he would have to do whatever was neccisary to feed himself. At age 8 Vincent's mother died, and Vincent was sent to live with his uncle Leroy. Leroy sent Vincent to school but, that was the most he put into his nephew's existance. Vincent has felt alone his entire life. He is a small boy who knows how to defend himself and how to get what he wants.

lol I wasn't scolding, just pointing that out. Also, I apologize. I was uninterested until I saw Greek mythology, and I guess I just started reading from there.

In that case, however, I remain uninterested. Sorry.

That's why I said it was not a world of my creation. I guess I forgot to put where from, though

Yes, it is based in that world. No need to scold.

((Not the official title))

This RP will be taking place in a world not of my own creation, but instead, a world already existing; the world presented in the Percy Jackson series. WAIT! Don't turn heels just yet. Read on and give it a look.

Greek mythology is very much alive in the world of today. It has moved around, following the 'place to be' in the world, which happens to be the United States. Olympus floats above the Empire State Building, and the Underworld in Los Angeles.

Of course, you already knew this. Or will.

In this RP, you will be playing as a Half-blood; a demi-god. In the old tales, the gods bore many children with mortals, and their offspring were revered as Heroes. The heroes took up quests, performing deeds for the Gods of Olympus, as well as other beings.

Starting off, your character will not know anything about their godly parents. What their home life was like is up to you.

Regardless, the RP will begin in a bus on it's way to the aquarium. Everything that happens afterwards will be controlled by me, and maybe a bit of help from Cairoi (I still need to ask him).

POSSIBLE PARENTS:

If you want to be a child of The Big Three, you need to ask me through PM. The Big Three are the three Gods with the most power. Their children are the strongest out of the heroes, but I would prefer to have little, if none, of them used by you.

Other gods cannot be the parent of your children, as they are virgin gods. The list below is incomplete and only include the well-known gods. Feel free to PM me another, and we will work it out.

Hera: Protector of marriage; takes special care of wives.
Powers: Hera's children are often born out of lust or hate. Her children are effected thusly, and so every child is different. Very rare to be a child of Hera.

Ares: God of War
Powers: Children of Ares are angry and blood-thirsty, not to say they aren't reasonable. They are out to fight. A child of Ares has proficiency with any weapon, and usually has some sort of magic control over them, as well, such as changing the form, size, shape, etc. A powerful child of this god can invoke feeling of war into others, so long as they are not strong themselves.

Athena: Goddess of wisdom.
Powers: A child of Athena always has grey eyes. A child of Athena is extremely intelligent, and usually a master strategist.

Apollo: God of music, truth and light. A responsibility of his is to pull the sun across the sky every day.
Powers: Excellent shots with a ranged weapon, usually bow, and conceited. Some have control of light. Most can also sing a hymn to their father and heal another.

Aphrodite: Goddess of love
Powers: Extremely good looking and conceited. They can change their physical appearance, as well as control the emotion of love over others. They can also Chramspeak, which is more or less the power of persuasion.

Hermes: God of thieves and commerce
Powers: A child of Hermes has the ability to steal things without being noticed, unless they are very obvious about it. They also have the power of teleportation.

Hephaestus: God of fire and the forge
Powers: Amazing mechanical abilities. They are able to use machinery in any way, taking it apart and rebuilding new items. By simply placing their hands on the item, they know how it works and how to use it. Some children of Hephaestus show signs of pyrokinesis, but the last was in 1666 during the great fire of London.

Dionysus: God of Wine and festivity
Powers: Children of this god are often chubby. They have control over vines of grapes and strawberries, like their father, and the limit is based on their strength as a hero.

Minor Gods and Goddesses: If you have a minor God or Goddess that you take a fancy to, feel free to PM me with who they are, and we can go over powers/attributes.

If you have any questions concerning the powers of the children of these gods, please feel free to PM me.

Magical Items: usually, the Godly parent of Heroes will award them some sort of magical item. They can also find one. Use your imagination, but remember, it must be approved by me. The limit is two.
