I saw this episode on CW4KIDS today. Comparing to Nicktoons like this video and the original version from FUNimation. He said IT's OVER 9000 The original manga and FUNimation DVD version has 8000. Dragonball Z Kai can be watched on YouTube by subscriber TheAmericanLegendUS. |

Please tell me that's a fake edit. I've heard he was indeed colored blue, but that's just absolutely terrible.
Then again look at how awesome 4kids edits for One Piece were! Mad editing skills for sure right there. |

I do own the HD TV and watching DBZ Kai on DVD from FUNimation seems better while watching. I watch Part One of the WHOLE series but did not own Part Two and is already released. Be aware that younger children under 14 want to own Dragon Ball Z Kai must have parental permission. I see children trying to "Check Out" Dragon Ball Z Kai from the Public Library but blocked for children under 12. Reason: Violence, Blood, Language, Alcohol Reference, Partial Nudity, Sexual Reference. If they not under 14, then the CW4KIDS version of Dragon Ball Z Kai is appropriate for them but must be over 7 years of age. I know I don't like watching CW4KIDS version especially when Mr. Popo is recolored to blue. It's fun to watch the comparisons. Even though most of it has been edited out from the original. I don't know about Nicktoons but it must be a Rated PG show similar to Naruto. |

Honestly, I haven't been watching Kai. Plus, I hate the fact that it is abridged. I haven't watched the original series for quite a while, though :o |

OMG OMG OMG IS THIS A NEW DRAGONBALL SERIES? This is where I say the bad news. No, it's not. It's basically Dragonball 'Redone' in HD. Not only that, but it's 300 episodes dummed down to about 120. So what you are getting is Dragonball Z. Abridged. What the fuck? This is stupid And here is where I list the good news! If you own an HD TV. You will notice a significance upgrade in detail to the show. Completely redone voice work. Redone artwork. Redone story, and redone to fit in your super TV! There are no episodes where people charge up their power levels anymore. There is no more bullshit. Just strictly DBZ Why should I watch this? I already know what is gonna happen Once again. This is basically choice. The show is still good on it's own and thus is well worth a watch for the first time. If you already seen it; watching it on an HD TV is just as good as ever. In fact. It's like watching it from the first time you watched it. If you wanna catch the series now. You will find it on Nickelodeon. Yeah. Can you believe it? |
