Mine is Crystle, but honestly half the people I know will still call me Elara. My oldest nephew is allowed to call me "chris", but even he rarely does because I dislike it. |

My name is Robert, but I've been called BJ since....forever? My full name got busted out whenever I was in trouble, but otherwise, BJ it was.
And then everyone grew up, and I learned what a BJ was. Awkward moment in my life. And then everyone grew up again, and it wasn't funny. It was one of those jokes that everyone thinks your an idiot for saying. I'm still called BJ, and I hate being called Robert. My closer friends call me Beej, for some reason. |

I've finally started to tell people to call me Steve now. Throughout school when teachers asked which I preferred I'd always say "Whichever", but now I'm all for Steve. My friends just naturally started calling me that around Jr. High, cool change I guess.
I still always write my full name though, just naturally. |

Well I really can't say I hate it. I just don't like it when my friends call me by that name. It just feels weird to me. I don't mind if my family calls me that though. Because it's only natural |

In the community I live in of 85 people, at least 20 of them have changed their names at some point. I'm sure it gets confusing.
Do you like the name Anthony? Or do you particularly hate it? Or are you impartial and don't like to be called it because you're not used to it? |

I pretty much have a similiar story, though. Until about five years ago, I always went by Alex, but once people got a hold of my last name, that's pretty much all I've ever gone by. Even when I want to college, within a few months, everyone stopped calling me Alex. But that's probably just because I have such a common first name. Hurray for Alex. |

Let's rewind to grade school. Back in first through first through fifth grade. My name back then was "Anthony"
Now, let's go a little further. My dad's name is "Dale". But when I was born my name was "Dillard Boy" Why that name you ask? Because my mom's name is "Dillard". And at the time I am the 2nd born from the Dillard family. My sister (Step-sister) is Morgison. I was Dillard at the time. My dad is a "Hall". Like me now. "Dale Hall". But my mother named me "Anthony". If that makes anything worse; my dad's name is Dale. But my full name is Dale Anthony Hall Jr. Now, I was called Anthony before middle school. What changed? Basically I heard "Dale" from a teacher in my home room class and I replied. Ever since I was known as Dale. Confusing I know. And don't call me Anthony. Only my family calls me that. If I see one Anthony post directed at me I swear to God consider yourself dead. DEAD |
