I would love to see a live action Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers
or a Carmen Sandiego movie.

Who the hell is watching this Yogi Bear movie?! It's been in first-run theaters longer than Scott Pilgrim and it's still showing like 10 times a day here in most of our local theaters!!

MASS BUMPAGE.

So the Yogi thing has been somewhat redeemed by the creation of the parody video "The Assassination of Yogi Bear by the Coward BooBoo Bear," which ended up having its name change for fear of suit.

It's great.

Warning, though. This'll spoil a certain Brad Pitt movie if you haven't seen it yet.

And yet I have never seen that story... yet it does not surprise me. Poor Smurfette.

But yeah... hop in the car Urban.

When I finally got Internet access back in '97 or '98ish, I remember receiving and reading the Smurfs Fucking Day story that's been passed around so many times. The story was pretty much the annual event of Smurfette getting gang banged after Papa Smurf (or someone) cast a spell so all her hair below her neck magically disappeared.

I'm sure the damned thing was older than the Internet.

Well, there was a Jetsons Meet the Flintstones cartoon from more than a decade ago. Happened around the time they decided to make a Tom and Jerry animated movie where the characters spoke. I REALLY didn't expect them to sound the way they did.

But yeah, a Yogi movie's pretty tragic, especially with Justin Timberlake involved. It sort of takes the punch out of a joke I heard a few months ago that I thought was hilarious: "So they're remaking 'The Dark Crystal' and Justin Timberlake's gonna be in it. Yep, he's bringing skeksi back."

Why did I click? WHY?!

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE AS BOO BOO?!?!?!?!

I will admit that Dan Akroyd does a good Yogi voice, but Timberlake cannot pull off Boo Boo at all. As for the rest of it... I need to go plan a funeral for my childhood. Excuse me.

What's next, a cgi remake of The Good, The Bad, The Huckleberry Hound?

.....

I clicked on it...

Pretty bad doesn't cut it. It gives it hope. This movie has none.

Yes, Alvin and the Chipmunks (still never saw it, and I never want to) was designed the same way. Whatever happened to the good old times?

Yeah, it's pretty bad. It's almost EXACTLY like Alvin and the Chimpmunks, though. Right down to the computer animation style.

I damn near laughed to the point of tears when they went, "In 3D!!!"

It's one of the greatest movies of all-time it doesn't need a remake just re-issue it with enhanced special effects and in HD/3D.

I disagree with the animaniacs.
They are a complete classic, and one of my favorite 90's cartoons. Never should they be eithr live action or digitally animated. I will accept new episodes, or even a movie, of the animaniacs that are 2-D animated, but otherwise, I will not here of it.

I think a few of those "could" be okay, but a few would make me want to nut punch the person that thought it was a good idea.

I think I'd actually love a live action Ranma movie, especially if it were Japanese-made.

And frankly, as I read over my list of hypotheticals again, I actually thought many of those things could be in the process of being optioned as I write this.

I could see a Carmen Sandiego movie being greenlit in a hot second.

Honestly (please dont kill me), I think a Back to the Future remake would be good. We have so much more technology now, I think it would look great. The only way I can see them ruining it is by getting a more modern car.
