Yeah, the Manowar cover keeps getting stuck in my head. |

Hilariously awesome. The main vocalist IS definitely pretty good, I liked the Manowar cover.
I can only imagine what it would've been like going in without knowing exactly what they do ... |

I heard it more as bitari or something. |

I always thought it was amusing that they were more saying "B-Atari" than "Battery." |

Oh wow, that would be a funny way to watch it. They got radio play? Wow, that is pretty cool.

Yep. It's funny watching these surrounded by people all stoned and tripping.
Marty found them a couple years back when he heard them on the radio in the Inland Empire. He couldn't figure out why the music didn't quite sound like guitars and looked the band up online. Pretty neat. |

So I have discovered something truly awesome... an a capella metal band. There are six members of the band, the only instrument is a set of drums. Everything else is done with the voice. It is amazing.
Like a lot of German metal bands, I notice they've done a few covers... they have covers of Nightwish (Wishmaster), Blind Guardian (The Bard's Song), among others Metallica (Battery). It took someone saying something after watching a video for me to realize that all of the guitar and bass as well as keyboarding was being done by people's voices. What is even more amazing is that they are very good singers and the lead guy is able to imitate all of the singers that he is covering. It sounds like Blind Guardian, like Metallica, like Manowar. Seriously, you guys need to check it out. |
