I showed this article to my boyfriend and he agrees with me on the divorce thing. Though I think that I'd sell something of hers first, then tell her about it later.

I can't believe no one has said this yet, but I would sell her Jewelry AND donate her wedding dress to goodwill or something. Women hold on to those things for their whole lives, and guess what, someone's gonna get it for free if not a minimal cost. Then show the receipt from goodwill that you donated one white dress.

And then if she hates you that much theres always the divorce option, but I'm really good at making people feel like shit when I argue with them. So there is always the possibility that she commits suicide. (I argue like a woman sometimes )

Here's what I put at the other board:

Seriously, I would sell some of her jewelry. Use the money to buy another system, or if possible, find out who or where she sold it too. She won't like it, which is to be expected, and if she wants a divorce there should be nothing holding you back from it. Fuck her one last time, good and hard (so she'll experience something no other man could give her), and kick her to the curb.

That was actually pretty selfish of her. If she didn't like it, she should have said something about it.

My kind of game too, I would definitely get even with her.

Also, this kind of thing really is an indicator of the health of the relationship.

My thoughts exactly.

It's HER fault that she didn't communicate with him about her issues with his gaming, and rather than even discuss it with him she underhandedly sold his property.

My boyfriend is in a band and devotes several days a week to practice and shows and occasionally recording. If I had a problem with this, I'm not going to sell his guitars and equipment. I would TALK to him. But maybe that's just me.

I found the Yahoo! answers post: http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fdetail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp%2Fqa%2Fquestion_detail%2Fq1325932148&sl=ja&tl=en&history_state0=

I used Google translator, but it's really choppy in English.

If I was him, I would cut off her balls in her sleep and sell them.

Oh wait, chicks don't have balls. I would exact appropriate justice upon her. Also, this kind of thing really is an indicator of the health of the relationship.

The ultimate fuck you would be taking something of hers, selling it, and buying a 360. If she whines and cries he could say at least it's not a PS3.

Beat the shit outta her.

Anyone ever did something like that to my PS3 and games and well...I'm out for blood.

Fact: She is horrible.

Other fact: Because he is now bored due to his lack of video gaming, he will now look at other women.

Another fact: She is going to be responsible for his adultery.

So, seriously, I hope it won't end like that, but as far as relationship problems go, I think that video games are probably the most harmless. It's a good way to build up a relationship with the kids, it's a fun way to relax, it's really, all in all, a good thing to have around.

Sure, he might not pay attention to her, but they should talk that out, her selling it probably just made him almost reconsider his marriage oaths to her.

Honestly, if she would do that imaging what else she would do. That is such a huge breech of trust right there that I would fully understand if he had the marriage annulled on the spot.

What a fucking bitch. I mean, it's just a game system and it can be replaced, but if she had issues with his recreative activities she should have talked about it with him BEFORE the wedding.

For fuck's sake, at least it's just gaming. It's not drugs, other women, etc.

...during their wedding!

The tale of a newly wedded husband whose wife secretly sold his PS3 and games to watch his shocked reaction when she told him has given rise to a storm of outrage, with thousands uniting in disgusted condemnation of the deed.

The story concerns a man who was something of a gamer and happily enjoying Winning Eleven on his PS3, and his wife who was not apparently pleased with this state of affairs.

The couple had just wed, when in the party following the service the curious question came up in a quiz: “How much would his PS3 and games fetch if sold?” Guesses were invited, but that was all.

The man’s wife, who wasn’t comfortable with her husband’s gaming, decided to take things a step further however, and in the continuing festivities the day after the groom was reduced to stunned silence on seeing the actual sale price of his beloved console and games come up on the screen, to peals of laughter from the crowd. It all fetched just shy of $200.

It transpired his wife and her friends had secretly sold the console whilst he was otherwise engaged.

He can certainly buy another console and all his games (whether his wife is willing to contribute anything towards this is another matter), but it seems his precious save data is all lost for eternity.

Soon the question was posted on Yahoo! Answers (”Chiebukuro” in Japan): “My friend’s wife sold his PS3 and all his games, can he ever forgive this?” and huge interest followed, with hundreds of thousands of hits and thousands of responses.

Not sure what site it's from, but a friend posted it at another board, LS2.com. What would you do?
