Wait, what? It is that old? But yeah, I never heard of it until last October or so... wtf?

I am getting pretty damn sick of Imagine Dragon's "Thunder"... I was never that big a fan of it to begin with, and it is one one of the soundbar demos at work so it is CONSTANTLY being blasted and it drives me insane.

For a bit, I was getting annoyed by the cover of "Africa" by Weezer. It is a great cover, but seriously, every half hour?

There is SO MUCH cool new music out there, and radio stations play the same shit over and over again. It is so annoying.

Posts: 11507/11918		 "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran is from some special kind of hell. Everyone -- but me -- seems to love it and it's been popping up EVERYWHERE almost literally EVERY DAY.

Seriously, went to see a Shakespeare-themed burlesque show in Hollywood and the girls, nearly naked, started singing "Shape of You."

The case manager at my center LOVES Ed Sheeran and finds amusement in my hate of how overplayed I think he is.

ALSO!!! Super hate how over-fucking-played "Despacito" is. One of my co-workers (who happens to be a straight Asian male) plays it off his phone every fucking day and it's on the radio almost every time I'm driving with the clients when I let them pick the station.

Still, why are there are so fucking many covers?

The clients request the stations that play Christmas songs while we're riding in the vans, and several of them sing along with them, most particularly THAT song.

Good god, the worst was when I was still going to LBCC and there was this couple attending a history night class with Bran and me and they would appear in the hallway singing it together every night.

I really fucking hate "Baby It's Cold Outside." That horrible song that's essentially about luring a woman to bed who keeps going, "The answer is, 'No,'" and asking "What's in this drink?" keeps getting covered and played on the radio every few minutes it seems.

Posts: 10879/11918		 Tempting as it is to just write, "Christmas songs!" in truth I don't find them so objectionable, but fuck am I tired of all the different versions of "Last Christmas."

I fucking HATE that song, I hate that there are so many covers (particularly from "Glee") and that they all get an absurd amount of radio play.

It's a terrible song about heartbreak that just happens to mention Christmas, and whenever it comes on I die just a little bit more inside.
