I came across it once on a search for something that happened at my school involving the women's studies department. It was the first result so I click on it and it was talking about how all of the faculty condemed one of the professors for claiming that whites were superior scientifically (all that eugenics stuff) and how women's studies was the last to sign the note of condemnation.... which then turned into a bunch of posts bashing women.

That site infuriates me. I've been there a couple times, mostly out of curiosity. I mainly visited the one where any race could post questions or comments.
It basically goes like this every fucking time: Visitor: "Hi, I'm -insert name here- and I'm a -insert race here-. I have these completely unbiased questions that I would like answered etc..." Stormfront: -dissects the entire thing they said, chews it up and shits all over it- They preach about having somewhat open minds and that racism isn't their goal, but 2 minutes on the site proves otherwise. I'm sure that even Hitler would want to smack these lowlifes.  |

Say you're doing a paper on Martin Luther King Jr.
You type his name into Google. The third site down, after a Wikipedia page and a Nobel Peace prize profile, is http://www.martinlutherking.org/. You think to yourself, 'Well, it sounds like he's got his own organization set up. They'll probably have nothing but cold, hard facts and perhaps even interviews from people who knew him.' You click the link. You're checking the place out. It's filled with "articles" about repealing MLK Day, how Kwanzaa should also not be a holiday, and puts up some rather unappealing quotes about Dr. King (that don't provide scans or any info other than quotes from noted publications). You run a whois search on the site. And you see: "Registrant Email:don.black@STORMFRONT.ORG" You go to Stormfront.org. And what do you find? A forum for White Pride World Wide. You may have already seen this, but it's a word of warning when you do any sort of research these days. |
