I remebmer back when I was playing Pokemon Red and Blue games and posted a fake cheat where you get yoshi evolve from Dragonite in some magazine. I never knew it was a hoax until I looked up in the internet about 2 years later.
Fake Pokemon cheat: Yoshi: You must have both versions of pokemon to work this code, each game must already have at least 150 pokemon and a firestone. 1) Have the red version of pokemon get a Dratini and trade it to a blue pokemon game 2) Then on the blue game evolve the Dratini to a Dragonite 3) Then have the blue version trade the Dragonite back to the red version of pokemon 4) On the red version game go to the unknown dungeon and surf where you got Mewtwo 5) Use a firestone on the Dragonite and it will evolve into Yoshi (#999) When you try to use the firestone it will say that it is not compatible but it is. That's some shit april fools joke I ever had. Damn punks. |

I remember several years ago reading on a fake CNN site that Bill Gates was assassinated. I thought it to be weird at first how he suddenly died, and then a short time later realized it was just a hoax. Funny. |

Yeah, it did seem a little quiet this year. Truthfully, I'd rather that than have a bajillion lame shit out there. Let the media recharge and come up with better things for next year. **shrugs**
Funny thing though. There were more pranks going around my end, in general, than I've seen in years. Even the teacher pulled a few pranks on us. |

Like the sleeping bag, or perhaps that Archivist class in Diablo III. I still stand by the fact that Wolverine being leaked was the best joke thus far. Almost seems like revenge for their pulling Marvel's YouTube videos that feature Wolverine claiming that he's THEIR character because they made a movie about him. Or their suit against Warner Brothers trying to delay Watchmen. |

So, it seemed here that people forgot it was April Fool's day. I couldn't think of anything good to do to people, and no one tried anything on me. Overall I think the only thing that could be considered a joke was the conflicker worm, since nothing happened with it at all. |

My sister and I got several bright ideas.
One of 'em was tying a rubber band to the hose from our kitchen sink. My mom ended up falling for that one...then got mad and did her Godzilla march throughout the house...destroying all in her path. XDXD Needless to say, there's another notch in the door from my mother grabbing me b the throat and slamming me into it... It was so worth it though. XD |
