Saw the ending finally. It was kinda odd they way they did it.

But yeah, uh, as to what you said one shot... she chose it for herself.

I never liked Inko-chan. He always ruined it for me.

I love this show, it has been so entertaining so far. The Christmas episode was just so sweet and sad at the same time, and I felt so bad for both Taiga and Minorin at the end. Honestly though, I think that Ryuuji and Taiga go best together, as both are the most down to earth. Minorin has some issues she needs to work on, as demonstrated with the baseball thing. Ami, while very worldly, also doesn't make a good choice because she is so worldly... I mean, she's taking a break from modeling right now but where would the relationship go once she went back to it?

Well, Taiga of course makes the most sense because that's definately the most developed relationship.
If you ask me though, who I, personally, would prefer to be with Ryuuji, I would probably have to say Ami. I feel that Ami would compliments Ryuuji best of the three. Where Minorin and Taiga are still sort of confused and sorting out their feelings, Ami seems to be much more put together. Now that would have been great and all, but that particular relationship didn't get the sort of development that I was hoping for. At this point an Ami ending just wouldn't make sense, especially after that most recent incident with Minorin and Taiga in the classroom. Which is in my eyes, a bit of a shame, because I really do appreciate Ami's character and the way that, while everyone else in the show seems so very oblivious to what's going on, she always seems to know what's up.
Oh well, moving on.
I think at this point, while unlikely, a Minorin ending wouldn't be completely impossible. That would also be kind of nice, because I do sort of feel bad for her. I mean, she finally gets to see a ghost and then she has to force herself to hide it in order to protect her friend.
When it comes down to it, I really do like all of the characters. But I'm thinking, forecast of Taiga ending 85%, forecast of Minorin ending 15%. I suppose I'll just see what happens, subs should be out for episode 24 should be out soon. I'll be pretty content however they decide to end it though, as long as it's good. A great show like this with all of it's great characters deserves a truly great end.

I don't know, at this point it really looks like it's going to be a Taiga ending. From an intellectual standpoint, this kind of bugs me. But from a more sentimental standpoint, I can't say that I'd be wholly displeased with such an ending, I am a big Taiga fan after all. Oh hey though, this reminds me. About a week ago I had the most bizzare dream. I can't remember most of the details (it was a dream, after all) but it was about Toradora, and in the end of it, there was this epic super violent Battle Royale style battle of sorts, and Taiga was mortally wounded, then as she was laying there dying Ami began to cannibalize her. It was just really fucking disturbing, I couldn't stop thinking about it all day. I'm kind of hoping for another fight before the end, but that would be just a tad bit extreme. lol.

Woh, your amazing! That's exactly what I imagined happened too!

I agree with you pretty much completely. I love Taiga, but still I'd rather have Ryuuji with someone else. If you could choose a girl for Ryuuji to be with, who do you think you'd choose? Taiga? Minori? Ami? ...Other?

Just in your own personal opinion.

I agree with you completely. Toradora is an amazing romantic commedy because unlike every other anime, there's an element of being unpredictable. Though it's blatantly obvious who Ryuuji is going to be with at this point, there was a lot of development up to this point.

Spoiler:
I still would love to see an anime like this one where the main character DOESN'T end up with the tsundere. e.g The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima...etc

Leaving all of the trolling and whatnot aside. (it is basically last season's Code Geass, in that respect)
I was wondering what y'all thought of Toradora. The way I see it, it's one of the most original romance comedies to come out in years. There's actually quite a bit of depth in the characterization and the interplay between the different characters. I mean they utilize some archetypes; take the three female leads for instance, they start out as the tsundere, the super happy crazy girl, and the bitch. But it's really nice the way that as the series goes on they develop greatly and begin to move outside of their original character. The Protagonist is actually fairly original as male leads in anime go, it's refreshing to have one that isn't just "male lead #2321" I also like the sense of realism (with a few exeptions) and while there are some very dramatic moments, it's never too over-the-top. The humour as well never seems to feel artificial or out-of-place, there's an almost perfect balance between the comedy and the drama. It's still airing currently and I've just seen 23. (CoalGuys subs) Anyway, I find this series highly enjoyable and original, even if you don't usually enjoy romance comedies, I would still recommend this to just about anybody who watches anime.
