All hail the old timers! I came over here from Vizzed around the same time as Rogue did though I got the invite from the elusive MasterSephiroth himself, but I didn't post as much at first because I was still hoping that Vizzed would pull out of it's downward spiral... it didn't and when it went down for a month or so I came over here full time.

I was a part of these two boards a llooonnng time ago called Summit Island and Shadow something or rather. They were Final Fantasy boards. Some random guy joined one of them and we talked on AIM and he told me about VizzedBoard. After awhile Vizzed got really lame and religious and so someone gave me the link to here, and voila! I'm here. Keep in mind this happened within 6 years or so. *feels old* |

I used to be really into simbattling(even though at the time I was bad at it) so I typed "simbattling" into google, and Xeogaming came up as the first result.
So basically, you guys got lucky that google put you first. |

My friend formally known here as DarkKnight told me about the board and I was drawn in by the battle arena feature, which I'm sad is gone, and ended up posting for a while. I had a falling out for a while because of retarded dial up speeds that pissed me off but during the second semester of my junior year I had a study hall and spent several hours trying to find a link to this site that wasn't blocked. I did and started posting again. I posted on and off since then and was recently drawn in by Facebook so my postings recently have been scarce but Xeogaming has always been there on my bookmarks tool bar just waiting for me to click on it. |

Well I originally thought that Vulkar had led me here, but that wouldn't explain my joining up before him...
However, on proper thought, I think this is how my story went down: Acmlm's was a link to this place, but I got here directly through Brink of Light forums, if anyone here remembers or knows about that. (It's no longer in existance, and the guy who owned it seems to have fallen off the face of my AIM list, so meh) I found a link to Brink of Light on Acmlm's Board, then from there someone had a link to here in their signature. I liked this place and kinda stuck here. Happy I did. |

I *think* I was the moderator of Acmlm's Board's Acmlmboard Programming forum (or at least active in that forum) when Xeo asked me to do stuff.

Well it's really not a new topic here. We often have threads to discuss how we all came here and met, but hey I've got nothing against a new posting on the topic. 
I used to be a regular on a board very much like this one, called Vizzed Board, where Xeo (then known as MasterSephiroth) was an admin. Elara, WhiteRose, GuardianOni, Junkie, and Zoso all posted over there as well. So did a lot of other people who became off-and-on regulars here. Not long into posting there (a couple months or so), Jon (goes by Lore on this board), my sort of at-the-time boyfriend told me about MasterSephiroth's board, Masters of Darkness, and told me I should drop by and maybe post a little. So I did. Seemed like every time I came on there were 10 people on at the same time posting away. You could write out a post and 5 minutes later there'd be three replies or so. I figured I'd stick around. Wasn't long before Vizzed died, mostly from the reigning flamers over there and lack of activity from anyone who had anything worthwhile to post. And when Lore and I mutually broke it off, I still stuck around to post here. So yeah, my origins here pretty much. |

Gotta think of new threads to keep this place running. So, how did you find this board? Why did you register? etc.
My discovery: I orginally go to Xeogaming.net when I download the AcmlmBoard back in 06. Then I went to the forum. I didn't register until later in February 07. But I was viewing the board and some photo albums here. Then I found out that it requires a few stuff to run the Acmlmboard. That is sad. Then in December 2006, I googled "Free Message Board". That's when I create my own board with a Proboard account. Then I got bored afterwards and started coming here to be more energic and active. Xeogaming Forums is my 4th acmlmboard forum after Ice Board, Romendo, and 3rd/4th Incarnations of Acmlm's Board. |
