Cairoi: Do not get TF2 for the 360... Console controls ruin it.
Cyro: That's a good idea. Oh dammit, I remember this other site my friend showed me that did a similar thing that might also help, but I've forgotten it. I remember it being awkward. Soiex: I tried putting the name in but it just said it couldn't find you... Is that your display name or the one you use to login? Because I've only managed to successfully add people with their login ID. |

Ryan, you play CS Source, dude, give me a message sometime. Steam ID = "Long John Skillver" minus the quotes. |

Heh, I think too many of you have Xboxs. We could use more PS3s here. Being laidback and having fun can work out, but we might end up being competitive in the end. Especially if we want people to take notice of us and join our board. Maybe you guys have heard of Gambattles.com. It's a competitive gaming site where clans play against each other and gain ranks on ladders. There are a few other sites like that, but game battles is the one I go to. It's run by MLG (Major League Gaming), which is a big organization. So big infact that ESPN covered one of the competitions. Anyway, maybe we could have everybody register there and compete against other people. If we get high on the ladder people will see us and check out the site. Most of them may not join, but at least they visit and maybe put a few words in to other people. |

Yeah, we'll be a collective unit of lazy people who want to have fun. Not a normal gaming clan. They get upset when they lose and they devote countless hours on perfecting just how many steps to take on the Hangar level to make the perfect turn to set up the perfect shot just to get two people before they die first instead of one.
When I get an Xbox 360, I'll be getting Team Fortress 2 if I have to kill somebody. |

Yes, Worms has online. It's damn fun online too. Everyone is too damn good. |

Most clans are competitive. We're going to be more laid back about it. That's my impression, anyway. |

That's kind of one of the ideas I had behind it. There is an occasional talk sometimes about how few active members are here, and having some form of clan (Which kind of goes with the whole "gaming" part of "Xeogaming") would hopefully attract some potential members.
As for games I could be part of, I own Half Life 2: Deathmatch, Team Fortress 2, Halo 1 (PC), Halo 3, Counter Strike: Source, Delta Force 2, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down (With expansion) and Worms Armageddon. Hopefully I'll have Call of Duty 4 soon, and I'm looking into getting a lot more online games with my new uber-charged wireless internet that actually works with games almost flawlessly. Originally posted by CairoiOriginally posted by Sussoloc Ythgim Eht Yes! This will be a great way to gain new members. People curious about our clan will join the board. And if we can get fairly good at the games we have clans for, we'll be able to recruit easily. |

Originally posted by Sussoloc Ythgim Eht Okay, whoo. We're people from all around the world. We're not gonna be able to pull stuff like that off. What we do is make a name for ourselves online in Brawl and attract members here. If we ever get bored, we can call out each other on here and make arrangements, we can make tag teams and kick ass, and have fun. It's different, but yet it's not. |

Originally posted by Sussoloc Ythgim Eht Ah. I'm used to clans on Doa4. Most games consist of 2 players only. However, it still worked out in the end. I don't think it'll pose too much of a problem. I can't see too many of us online at the same time anyway. I'm sure we'll figure something out. Either way, it'll be really fun playing with everyone. |

I don't have a Wii yet, but I plan on getting one soon just for Brawl. And since it seems quite a few us here plan of getting the game I think a game clan for Xeogaming would work out great. |

Well, it's not like Halo, or CoD4, or TF2 where there can be 30 or so players on at once, so the entire clan can get on. With Brawl it just doesn't seem as clan based. |

Except Brawl only lets you do 4 people, even online. |
Cairoi Posts: 2835/3807 |
Oh, god guys. We have to have a Brawl team. That would be so fucking sweet. |

I feel that the one common online game we all will share is Smash Bros. Brawl. Second is probably Halo 2/3. |
