I haven't beaten Ryan, but yesterday I watched all of the Star War movies backt o back with only occaisonal short breaks. That means around 14 hours in a single day.

Ryan is still the man with the most though...but that will change...that will change...

Back in college, I marathoned Neon Genesis Evangelion, it's two movies, Serial Experiments Lain, and FLCL in a single weekend. Eva took most of a day, but I had no classes and only took time out to go hit the cafeteria for meals and go to the bathroom. Watched lain until I fell asleep in my chair, then had to start over when I woke up because I couldn't remember which episode I'd nodded off during, and that series has like zero continuity. My neighbor came by with the copy of FLCL he'd just gotten the day before, and I said, "What the Hell, throw it in."

I also finished all of CardCaptor Sakura and it's two movies in 3 days.

I also just finished a double marathon of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi: once in DVD order, and once in bradcast order. Took me all week because of my full-time job, but next week I'm going to do it again except dubbed instead of subbed.

I think DarkSlaya might hold the record here for anime marathon's, but I dunno.

If not, I'm pretty close, since before I got a job I'd pretty much just watch anime 24/7.

I watched yu yu hakusho in about 3 days.

Tells you alot.

I have watched two anime series in the last 22 hours. Thats 14 episodes each. To summarize, 28 episodes in 22 hours.
14 hours of anime, 8 hours of homework/aikido/childcare.

The anime was actually pretty good as well. I recommend it to the romantic-comedy lovers though, I can't see a lot of you enjoying it if you are looking for much action or drama.

It's called "Zero no Tsukaima" by the way. I then watched the sequel "Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi"

Has anyone else seen this?

Anyone have a long anime (or others) record?
