Ahhh.... yes... Payback's a bitch. And it always bites you in the ass after make some bullshit comment like that. I would love to see Colbert win the counter-sue, would serve that jackass right for starting this crap in the first place. |

So this guy's been making statements like this:
Rumor has it, Stephen Colbert's counter-suing because the joke bombed. |

You know, if I owned Star Trek, I would most definitely be suing both of them for using Star Trek in such a lame way.
But yeah, this whole thing is crazy. |

I didn't even read the above posts. I watched the video.
That fat prick is a fucking crybaby. I thought the same damn thing when I saw the Colbert report that night, since i used to watch Star Trek. What a fucking butt-hurt. Someone call the Waaaaaaa-mbulance. |

It reminds me of those ridiculous lawsuits we hear about once in a great while that actually go through. Unless there is a patent on that joke, he's not getting anything. |

Unfortunately it is not a joke. I have a no tolerence policy regarding bullshit lawsuits like this... I think that he owes Stephen Colbert $65 million for having to go through this bullshit, and should be banned from placing another suit for the next 50 years or so.... If the justice system started cracking down on these fucking idiots with their bullshit lawsuits, it would save the government a lot of time and money in dealing with them. |

Just because he is banned doesn't mean his fans are.
Seriously though... if this isn't a joke I think that all my hopes in humanity will truly be dead. |

While this is probably a grab for attention, maybe even a chance to go on Colbert Report, it's rather shoddy at best.
Checking this guy's Wikipedia entry, some wrote: "As of September 2007, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert is attempting to sue Uygur for $65 million with the claim that Uygur time traveled ahead to steal his gag comparing Republican Presidential candidates to Star Trek Klingons." Hilarious. It would be funny if it were confirmed that Stephen did it, but he's supposedly banned from editing Wikipedia. |

Honestly, it is a joke. Once it is said, it becomes public property and he has no right to sue anyone for using it. This guy is looking to get rich quick, and used the case with the guy who sued for $65 million over a pair of pants as his reasoning as to why this is a good case. This guy is going to try to bullshit his way through this case, and will likely win with the fucked up way these kinds of trials tend to go, I would love to see him lose this though. |

$65 million for a relatively mediocre Star Trek observation? CNN article It's likely that this is all a mock feud or even just a ploy for attention, but this radio host hasn't given any statements or made any comments other than this one. Will update with news as it comes. |
