Since I've registered since who knows when, I'd like to think I'm a slightly nicer person--no regrets if I haven't though. Nonetheless, I think I've gotten to know the people here a lot better--except Chevy, I already knew him from Ragnarok Online. Since registering, I've graduated high school, and enrolled in a community college. It's actually kind of neat sometimes. This board has affected me--marginally.

Oh yeah, I'm joining the college newspaper. D:

Now that I've finally got a working computer and I'm bored as hell I have some time alone with it, I can answer my own questions.

How have I changed in the last 3 years?
- I'd like to think I'm the same person, but chances are I've learned a thing or two about life that my 3-years-younger self would wish she knew then (like to not stress so much or to remember to buy batteries, what have you).

That and now I can legally drink and gamble (in the U.S.), but that's not as remarkable as you think once you hit that age.

What have I accomplished since then?
Well for the "official" accomplishments:
- Certificate in journalism.
- Editor-in-chief of my college's newspaper and of the magazine for a couple years.
- Won several awards for stories I've written and pages I've edited.
- Appeared in the local papers over controversies between my college and our newspaper (one of a few of the articles: http://www.gazettes.com/lbcc04142005.html).
- Become a proud godmother.

"Other" accomplishments (in other words, things that I value that others, i.e. parents and family over 35, do would not):
- Appeared on the Mallrats 10th anniversary DVD asking Jason Lee a question.
- Been in every capacity of a convention (been an attendee, press, staff, volunteer, and next year will go to Con with a Professional badge).
- Worked for a Rocky Horror Picture Show cast the first half of those 3 years (worked '03 'til the end of '05)
- Started working as a roadie/photographer/drum tech for Voidcrush.
- Put together/sewed my own Renaissance faire garb, and have been confused for someone who works there on many occasions).
- Hit the 30 conventions mark somewhere in those 3 years, met and/or have my picture taken with several geek idols (Kevin Smith, Lucy Lawless, Bruce Campbell, Neil Gaiman, etc), started zombie walking as a hobby, and somehow have become recognized by Shelby and Phil.
- Was once an admin.
- Have been in a 3 year relationship with this guy.

How has the board affected me?
Honestly, it's been a source of heartache and pleasure for me. I've made friends, watched people change and grow, and I've never even heard most of your voices.

It's also sometimes the only way that I can keep track of some of those I know here in SoCal, but rarely see.

Hm. Well, it's been a long time since I've come here. I've been a member since Feb of '05 and made pretty much an abrupt stop into early '06. Next to Anime-US, this place has been the best board I've been to so far.

During the time I've been here I've still be on active duty in the Army at Ft. McCoy, WI. Living in on-post housing to a couple hotel in the two nearby town. I'm typing this post from the Best Western. Been living here for 7 months already. It's second time since '04. I've been doing most role playing or role playing supervising (acting like Iraqi civilians and/or insurgents) and mentoring squads of deploying soldiers through different classes and training events. During all that time I also got engaged to a wonderful woman, who is actually registered here, but posted only a few times. We've had our ups and downs, and have been away from each for very long times, but we are still happily together, just in a complex way right now. No change to my hair. Achieved a financial milestone of $10,000 in the bank. Doesn't seem like much, however. I've begun to talk more and can actually come up with things to say when I'm around groups of people. That's a huge plus for me.
Resistance:Fall of Man for the PS3. That game has had me by the balls since I got it and the system for Christmas and I play online damn near every day, sometimes for 7+hours. Wasting much of my time for other things, yes. But in doing so I've save quite a bit of money by not going out to stores or bars and I am on par with the elite players of the game.

As far as the board goes: again, I haven't been here for more than a year, so I've really say I've been affected by anyone. However, I seem to have an impact on certain members. Being given first place in the "Most Missed" category of the board award doesn't seem to be an easy thing achieve. Unless I only got 3 or votes for the category while the other nominees received only 1 or 2. Either way, I am flattered that some of you guys miss me, even after all this time has gone by.

How have you changed in the last 3 years?
I can't really see how I've changed...I've grown somewhat more mature, although as Vulkar and many of my friends will point out I do act half my age at times.
This is difficult...I've not really paid much attention to howI've changed before.

What have you accomplished since then?
I've gotten good at Abe's Exoddus with managing to save 280 of the 300 mudokons, although I still suck at Abe's Oddysee.
I've finished my GCSEs and tomorrow I get to find out what my results are... I hope I get a decent result in my English class or I'll be forced to take it again...
Uh... Not really much else I can think of...

How has the board affected you?
To tell you the truth, the board has not affected me much at all... Not in any ways I can think of right now anyway...

Hmn.

How have you changed in the last 3 years? I've matured a bit more. Learned not to lend large amounts of money to anyone, ever. Learned lots actually.

What have you accomplished since then?
License to drive
Drinking age
tattoo
engaged for a month
learned to brew beer
AA in Liberal Arts
walking in powerizers
Full moderator
Accident avoidance of glory
cooking things other than ramen
etc.

How has the board affected you? I've met some cool people, I've met some bad people. I enjoy talking with the cool people, though the bad ones have turned me slightly into the bitchy moderator... but it's cool

How have you changed in the last 3 years?
hmmm.... my hair's longer. My sense of fashion is totally different instead of loose pants I'm wearing tighter long jeans and tighter shirts. Plus I have to wear business clothing when I go to work since I don't work at BAM anymore I work at TSYS as a collector.

What have you accomplished since then?
graduated high school, left to join the army and came back

How has the board affected you?
it was something I could fix my writing at. Plus I have somewhere to rant incase no one else is listening... which doesn't happen as much.

Okay, lesse. I'll just go in order.

How have you changed in the last 3 years? Ohh boy..
I'm older. A bit wiser (through experiences). Learned to be more open with people, at the same time be a lot less worried about things, then to be a hell of a lot more worried about things. Been beat down, helped back up, beat down again, kicked while I was down, and dragged myself back up. (Friggin Navy life ) I'm a lot more... Introverted now though. I've noticed that. But I meet people a hell of a lot easier now and make friends easier too. So go figure eh? I'm a walking ball of giant asian contradictions.

What have you accomplished since then?
Made a few of my largest dreams come true. Graduated highschool, Joined the Navy, completed the hardest training program that the military has to offer (Mentally/willpower wise, not really physically). Watched most of the things I care about fly away or people who I care about die or start to die. Surviving that so far I'd say is an accomplishment, though with a lot of help from my friends. And made two new best friends who've saved my ass a few times.

How has the board affected you?
Directly, it hasn't. But through some of the people I've met on here, my life has been changed forever. (As per above mostly) Plus it's fun to read all the cool things and all every now and then.

Pretty much anything else you care to talk about, shoot.
Eh... Kinda already did that

Changes:
I'm taller.
I "acquire" more (old) games than I used to (Fallout, Master of Orion 2...).
I've worked to be more in control of my mind and emotions.
Musical preference changed from my previous complete apathy to purely instrumental music, especially piano. A lot of video game music has been getting played lately, simply because I'm already familiar with it. For example...

Accomplished:
Got a GED.
Got three jobs, first one (1 year, 2 wks) sucked, second one (7 months) was pretty good, third one (2 weeks, present job) absolute shit.
Moved away from my parents. Mood and outlook improved drastically.

I started wearing black. Fuck color.

I've not only learned how to play guitar, but how to shred and what REAL music is! (metal)

I guess it affected me by showing me some new metal to listen to. I didn't have much beforehand.

But 3 years isn't much, I'm still sticking by that.

Let's see...changes...

Well, I gained a lot more of a social life now. I used to have only a small one with a few people at church. Now I've got a lot of people who like me, and plenty of good friends.

I've also beein working on my book(300 pages so far), I've grown a lot more insane, and I've developed a partial sense of humor. Oh yeah, I've also learned to cook, which makes me happy.

As far as the board...It's only changed me a little. I know a few more people, and my writing has definitely improved, but I haven't changed much beyond that.

Personality-wise, I really haven't changed much at all. Like...totally the same, basically. I'm a bit more outgoing, that's it. For things I did (not in order at all):

Started Learning Japanese.
Baby brother was born.
Went through many PC Game phases. RO being one of them.
Registered to this board my first year of High School. So gained new friends, kept old ones while starting there.
Uh...
Er...

I'm boring. >=O

In all honesty, I can't see how the board has changed me either. I've formed some close relationships and changed as a result of those though.

I know I've changed a fuckload, but I'm still kinda in the midst of uber changes, so it's really hard to reflect at the moment I guess. I was a helluva lot more naive...though I still am pretty naive. Most of my changes are due to family, friends, and simply just growing up. I've even grown a quarter of an inch since I've joined! Teehee. I'm now 5'2 even.

Changed my hairstyle.
Was a freshman. Now a senior in HS.
Passed my road test, got my driver's license.
Summer's consisted of sleeping late and watching TV. Summer now consists of working at Bank of New York.
Got a girlfriend. Now we're broken up.
Now I play the guitar.
The board has not affected me in anyway whatsoever.

Since Xeogaming has turned 3 years old, and most of us who still actively post here have been posting well before Xeogaming was conceived, I figure it's time for some introspection.

How have you changed in the last 3 years?

What have you accomplished since then?

How has the board affected you?

Pretty much anything else you care to talk about, shoot.
