Yeah...don't do that, silly. You scare me sometimes, my friend. You seem okay. You've been checked for bruises so I'm not worried. Just don't do it again, EVER! |

Good to hear that your OK Pockets. Almost all of my cousins on my moms side of the family have been in bike accidents and some of them haver really gotten injured. But they still ride so... But its good that your OK and made it out with minimal damage. |

Was there any damage to the van that you have to pay for? That would suck on top of fixing the bike. I am glad to hear that you are okay though. |

The only plastic was on the bike itself. Didn't get run off the road.
I was checking the lane to my right to see if it was clear to move over. When I looked forward again there was a van at a dead stop about 6 feet from me. I slammed on the breaks, hit the back bumper at about 20 mph or so and at the sudden jolting stop dropped the bike and cracked my knee on the engine block as I was jumping clear. I'm completely ok. My knee aches a little bit but nothing major. Gonna be stiff tomorrow though. |

Because I know your ok, I can joke by asking, was there any plastic around? If not, your completely fine. Honestly though, scared me when you told me over the phone. Sorry about your bike, but glad your ok. |

holy shit.
My dad's one of those bikers. My dad had to totally rebuild his. He was so sad by that. ANYWAY atleast you're okay. *pats* You'll be alright, if you want to continue biking just get back on the horse. I don't know what to say about accidents. Atleast you were smart enough to wear a helmet. |

So I have switched categories of bikers. There are two types of bikers in the world
those that have gone down, and those that are going down. I just today fell into the gone down category. I got into an accident this morning on the 91 freeway on my motorcycle. Scared the fuck out of me let me tell you. I'm only a little bit hurt and that just barely. I didn't even fall to the pavement. The bike falling cracked against my knee and it's a little swollen and aches but nothing major. Bikes left front turn signal is smashed to shit, the corner of the front fender is scratched and part of the left foot peg. It was leaking coolant when I got the bike back on it's wheels but doesn't appear to be doing so now so I have no idea what kind of damage was really done. I'm not sure this was the right forum for this but I needed to tell someone. Thank you for reading. |
