ooc--Bringing it back.

Alex's brilliant reaction time and amazing technology saved him this time, but there were several things an angel could do against a psychic. Being an Angel abroad, White learned many different ways to overcome his technologically powerful foes. And has mastered them to a sort of science.

"The Lord does not help me, for if he did, what would I learn?"

White cracked his knuckles, and prepared for an all-out attack. This fight would be finished soon.

"Your reliance on technology is depressing. Even your blade is enhanced by your technology. I hope you can see the error in your ways, and I hope you do not die."

White lifted several inches off of the boat, looking to the heavens with closed eyes. When suddenly, the air burst around him, sending a shock wave outwards. Though this shock wave had no effect on organics, it was a devastatingly powerful Electromagnetic Pulse. A pulse so powerful, that every instance of technology in the area, approximately 200 yards in a circle from White, should be instantaneously fried. The magnetic pulse would have also rendered the boats useless, at least for moving, but that was not a problem for an Angel. White touched the bottom of the boat again, and smiled calmly.

"I introduce you to 'Plague of Darkness.' Friend, I wish not to kill you, simply surrender and I shall take a token of victory, and drop you off on shore. I do not wish for unnecessary bloodshed."

Alex himself wasn't great defensively, in fact, if it was just himself, he would have died many times. Luckily, implanted in his brain was a reflexive computer chip, which was able to take over his conscious movement, and control his actions.

So, Alex quickly reshaped his nanobot sword in a pole cruved in an angle as to directly instercept the lightning. The pole would also stab through the boat, and to the surface of the lake. It hardened, so that it would be almost identical to steel.

Luckily, lightning is only dangerous to something that is not a good conducter of electricity. The energy get caught inside of something if it isn't a good conducter. Fortunately, Alex's nanobot sword was a perfect conducter of electricity.

Ordinary computers and the like would be harmed terribly by lightning. However, since nanobots are technically living, though programmed, organisms, they were not harmed in the least by the lightning.

So, Alex and his boat were perfectly fine.

"I think you can do better than that," he called out to White. "If your Lord truely wanted me dead, I suspect he would have killed me right then. This alone is evidence that he won't mind me winning."

Perfect, now Alex was armed with a sword, and White had his fists. In melee combat, Alex's nanobots would be much more effective.

"Let's see if you have anything that won't destroy your spear."

Alex was right, the spear was destroyed. But a nasty side-effect of destroying the Spear was about to initiate. A bolt of lightning striking forth the instant the spear was fully submerged in the water. With almost no origin, save a small black cloud in the sky, erupted, striking where the boat Alex is riding in is located. The force of the lightning bolt, the speed, and origin should all equate to Alex having great difficulty forming a defense. The lightning bolt was from "god," whether it be one of many, or the solitary, was no matter right now. It's strength was immense, and a penalty for breaking the weapon White was given by the heavenly father to do his mission. White rode the boat farther away, smiling and looking back to see the after effects. If Alex was not killed by the bolt, the force should at least throw him from the boat, and shatter the boat completely.

Alex grinned, and caught the spear in a telekenetic grip, then fired off the energy balls, though they apparently had no effect.

When Alex xaught the spear in his grip, he attempted to charge it into the lake, while keeping the grip on it, with as much will power as he could. If he was lucky, the power of the lake could destroy the spear more effectively than a few drops of water that he splashed on it could.

Upon the swerving away action Alex was doing, White grasped his spear tightly and threw it, with great speed, at his foe. If White calculated correctly the spear would hit Alex square in the chest as soon as he began charging the energy balls. But just in case, White raised his hand to the sky, and a beam of light enveloped him. The beam of light's diameter was 10 feet, and surrounded White's tiny boat quite easily.

Alex, being a psychic, didn't need to be looking at White to attempt to block. So, he jumped up into the air, avoiding the stab. He landed near the rear end of the boat, very near to the engine.

He quickly rushed forward, and grabbed onto the boat's steering wheel with one hand. His free hand rose up, and suddenly started glowing blue.

Alex swerved away from the boat White was on, and attempted to go at full speed. Suddenly, four blue orbs fired out of Alex's hand, towards White's boat. Each orb could create an explosion that spread around an area of twenty five feet at full potential, and completely lost energy at fourty.

These energy orbs created a sort of burn without heat. It could cause fire and explosions, but in itself, they didn't have any heat, they merely did a tyope of pure energy burns.

The four orbs that Alex fired were made to surround White's boat, each of them fify feet apart, surrounding the front, back, and sides. Where the boat was now would have four times the ordinary amount of energy inside. Hopefully, White would be inside of a circle of pure energy, with enough strength to distintigrate him.

Also, these orbs had more than enough energy to burn of the gasoline in the boat, making it explode and sink. If Alex was lucky, White would sink into the water and die.

"You shouldn't have come after me...I know your strength, and my own is vastly superior."

White, noticing the weapon slashing towards his leg, pivoted his whole body to the right. He planted his foot on the boat and kicked off, flipping backwards and grabbing his spear, he landed on Alex's boat, and swung the spear at Alex, aiming for his exposed back.

Alex watched White's foot, and reacted quickly. He twirled his sword in front of him as he went, hopefully cutting White's leg off. If White dodged, however, Alex would simply land on the boat. If he didn't, Alex would hopefully cut off his leg.

Alex concentrated hard on the boat, and attempted to make it rock over to the side through use of telekenesis. More importantly, the side that White is on would hopefully fall into the water.

ooc- Sorry for not posting in a while, lost track of this thread.

White's spear almost immediately purified itself, it was a shame it would only work on the water touching the spear and not the water that would get on White. It purified the water because the spear is an artifact straight from heaven. White took a hard hit in his boat, and fell backwards,. Grasping onto the edge of the boat(from inside it still), White noticed Alex leaping at him. He attempted to deliver a kick to Alex's chest, and then bring his foot over his head, hopefully launching Alex into the water.

Alex grinned. Who needed to steer when you had telekenesis?

He grabbed onto the side of his boat, and dodged to the side as the spear was thrown. The steering wheel still took a hit, being damaged enough to make unusable, but Alex was fine.

He got an idea. As soon as the spear landed in the steering mechanism, he reshaped his nanobot sword into a type of spoon, and threw the water onto the spear. White would have a problem using the spear if it was covered in poisonous water, and his hands would probably be hurt from the exposure.

He reshaped his sword, and attempted to use telekenesis to steer his boat so that it would ram into White's.

If he succeeds, Alex would jump frm his boat, and attempt to land on White's, puting them both onto the same boat.

White too accelerated. Riding side by side with Alex. He grasped his spear tightly and thrust it right at the steering mechanism for Alex, attempting to make him swerve very quickly so that Alex would be thrown from the boat, simple physics. This field created some interesting tactics.

Alex took the kick to the chest, knocking the air out of his lungs. However, he stretched out his arms, and grabbed onto the rail, just barely saving himself from falling to the water.

He was able to rebalance himself as White jumped onto his boat. They had now switched boats...Alex frowned, that wasn't supposed to happen!

"Not many people get distracted by bantering," Alex said.

He rushed towards the boat's steering, aimed it towards the one White was on, and charged it forward at full speed. He doubted either of them would be damaged from it, but it was still fun to make boats go fast.

White saw the man leap onto his boat, spinning quickly he cornered himself facing his foe on the edge of the boat, by the motor. He slammed the back of the spear into the ground before Alex, as Alex drew his sword, and kicked off the back of the boat, sending himself around the spear, in the air, using the spear as support. This movement made the slashes useless, and by the time Alex was finished, White's feet were mere inches away from Alex's body. All in an attempt to knock the man into the water. White landed after following through on Alex's boat. He twirled the spear lightly in his hands, no expression on his face.

"Bantering is useful, if only for a distraction."

Alex ducked just as quickly, avoiding the spear as it flew at his head.

"I thought we were still in the bantering before combat, but if you really want to fight..."

Alex jumped from his boat, to White's back, making them both on White's motorboat. He drew his sword, and held it in a medium stance, holding it horizontally, and at chest level.

Suddenly he moved, angling his sword to perform forst a slash to White's left, then a stab towards White's cheat, and finally a slash towards White's legs.

"Maybe the bantering should go on all throughout the battle."

White kicked the motor of his boat as well, proceeding at the same speed as Alex.

"I never said I was sent to kill you, I was merely sent to battle you. Death is only an outcome predictable by how we partake in combat."

He clenched his spear tightly in both hands, and quickly struck out with the bottom of it to try and hit Alex on the right side of his head, aiming directly for his temple. White loved melee combat, he drew pleasure from the amazing amount of pressure it put him and the other fighter under.

"Heh, never thought I'd see pirates here," Alex said. "I'm not really in the mood for battle, but I suppose when an angel is sent after me, I haven't go much of a choice."

Come to think of it, why had an angel come after him? It must have been punishment for him not donating any money to those salvation army things at supermarkets...

Alex drew his sword out of his scabbard. Maybe if he was lucky this would be more of a sword fight, those were at least a bit more fun than those requiring his psychic powers.

"You're the one who wants to kill me, I think that I'll let you go first."

He grinned, and kicked the motor for his boat. It would send him going forward slowly, keeping the ballance on this boat fairly awkward. They would have to watch their footwork.

"It's strange," he said. "I killed a demon recently, and now an angel is sent after me, is all of the afterlife out to kill me?"

On this day, a man was sitting in a boat. He had heard of a warrior going out onto the lake, the heavenly father suggested that he go meet this man in a clash to the death. The water made this place dangerous. The water, was something from hell, something not of this world. White's eyes drifted across the water, until he saw another boat. One like his, with a man on it, sword at his side. Someone must have let him know that he was going to be there. White accelerated in the boat, pulling up only 4 feet away before he came to a stop.

"My name is White, and I was sent here by destiny and fate to see if I could find a worthy adversary. I must face the best of this land before I can attain my quest."

White stood tall, he was about 6' 1" and 145lbs. He reached toward the sky, and a ight shine above, the light seeming to shoot into his hand. And upon the clearing of this bright light, there was a pearl-handled spear, with it's tip a deep crimson. White grasped the spear near the tip and planted the bottom in his boat, his arm held out to the side.

"Whenever you are ready."

It was midafternoon, a good time to go boating. Alex was currently on a motorboat, though it was anchored to the bottom of the lake.

This water wasn't usual water. It had two interesting things about it. First, is was full of poisonous bacteria, which could kill a man in around a minute(two turns, to be exact). It was also tainted, meaning that an angelic being would die in just the same amount of time.

Alex had his sword with him, though he had no idea why he bothered. He just had a feeling he should...that's what he got for meing a psychic.

His own boat was fairly small, only about ninefeet long, and four feet wide, with rails on all sides but the back.

He liked this place, despite its danger. It was always empty and inviting, with plenty of the sun. He was wearing a pair of jeans and a thick t-shirt, just waiting...in the calm and relaxing water...

ooc: Rules, as agreed upon by me and Xeios:
Anymore than two turns in the water kills you.

You must have a two turn break inbetween every time to go into the water.

If you enter the wate,r you're hurt, no matter what.

You can use the water as much as you want, and simply splashing it with your hand isn't enough to kill.

ic: Alex waited, calm. He had a feeling something was but to happen, but it didn't matter, he was prepared.
