| Today, Vince is coming over and we plan on killing motha' fuckin' zombies.
I have yet to finish Left 4 Dead (even though there's no story line, anyway) because I don't feel like completing by myself. No fun 
So yeah. That is getting done, and probably some writing. I was going to go to Warped Tour today, but I'm broke. |

| As the demon ran towards Alastor, he dropped to the ground and onto his side to avoid the slash. After she started to spin to administer the spin kick, however, Alastor sent a punch straight to the back of her knee when her back was exposed. The chances of a hit were tremendous, as Sorcha would not see it coming, and would only be on one foot in the first place. The punch would explode with energy, crippling her leg and putting her on the defensive.
The punch would negate her chances of using the Fox push, as she would most likely most likely fall to the ground. If she managed to dodge, Alastor would still be in the ground to avoid the Fox push, and he would use his dagger to stab at her stomach as she moved forward with the push. Die I will not, he smiled inwardly. |

| Granted. The heat wave is replaced by a blizzard, which brings temperatures to below freezing and cuts out all electricity. The Day After Tomorrow was filmed in the desert compared to this. Game over.

| I like the idea that girl had. Sushi made with newspaper would look cool. Maybe you should ask people on your site to make a couple banners to see what you like. If you don't like any, then no one wins.

Setting: A large field positioned next to a lake. A concrete path weaves its way around for joggers and bicyclists. Trees in the distance. Nothing fancy. BIC: Alastor sighed deeply as he surveyed the surrounding land. A lake glittered a stones throw away from the bench he sat upon, which was a bit farther than the average man. If you could call me a man at all, he smiled. Sunlight streamed down from the high afternoon sun, its heat blanketing the expanse of field, a wide concrete walk serpentining around the park. Not a civilian was in sight on this perfect day. It was calm. Alastor closed his eyes, adjusting his position while making sure his blade did not fall from beside him. I had missed days like these. |

| A smile crept across Alastor's face as he heard the newcomer. He did not need to open his eyes to know his old friend had arrived. Frankie and Alastor had met before when he was sent out by Hades to find out who had murdered the vampire family, only to find the youngest, Frankie, standing there.
"Peanut butter, huh? You always were bland with your food. Vampires," Alastor said, the smile still on his face. He looked up for the first time to face his friend. Alastor rose from his seat, picking up his sword with his right hand. He took a score of steps away from the bench, heading towards the lake before turning on his heel. He took a defensive stance, playfully beckoning Frankie over. "Whenever you're ready." |

| Alastor dodged the knife flying towards him with a quick step to the right, lifting his sword so the flat side would intercept the energy flying at him. It mingled with the red energy that had started charging when the knife was thrown. The energies were of two different types, so Alastor had no control over his opponents raw blast, but centripetal acceleration would handle the rest.
The energies crackled when they met in a hot spark, and Alastor continued his movement to spin around 360 degrees, slashing his sword downwards to form, an energy wave from his sword that raced towards Frankie. The raw energy that was his opponents mingled in the blast, but was mostly used up. The wave was thin, but ranged from five to six foot long. If it hit Frankie, it would pack some damage. Alastor continued to charge red energy on his right hand, while his left sported a black glow. This was getting fun already. |

| Instead of deflecting the energy blasts, Alastor quickly brought his two fists together, still holding his black-bladed sword. The red and the black energy slammed together, forming a small energy dome that expanded five foot in either direction of Alastor. The raw energy blasts dissipated harmlessly on the side of the dome.
Frankie, however, was sliding towards the dome as it formed. With his speed he was moving at and not being on his feet, he would have a lot of trouble rolling around the large dome, considering its diameter. If Frankie did hit the dome at the speed he was moving, his ankle was bound to be hurt, along with the burn he'll receive. Red and black glowed stronger upon his fists as he waited patiently. | Alastor's dome faded as Frankie landed on the other side of it. He turned quickly to see that the Vampire was shooting energy towards the ground, trying to make a crater so it was harder for Alastor to stand.
Alastor smiled. He jumped up and out of the crater, flipping once in the air. The jump propelled him towards Frankie, and he brought down his sword with two hands in an attempt to strike his opponents head. The spin would add extra strength to the attack, and Frankie was distracted with energy blasts below. If he did not dodge the attack, it would split open his skull. Alastor knew that his old friend would, though. Which is why after the swing of the sword, Alastor would send bolts of energy from his left hand at his opponent whichever direction he went. With the amount of energy he had been charging, it would certainly be enough to send him flying backwards and to the ground, with a nice bruise on his skin. Alastor would be aiming for the chest. "Indeed," Alastor responded as the sword flashed downwards. |

| OOC: Be specific as to the timing of your movement, and where you aim.
BIC: As Alastor flipped, he saw the Vampire rush forwards from his original position. Quickly, Alastor sent a bolt of energy at Frankie the exact same time Frankie sent a bolt towards Alastor. He had used his right hand to fire the energy towards his chest, and since he had been charging red energy, it would explode brutally upon contact upon contact, having been charged for quite some time. It would be very hard to dodge, with his opponent unsuspecting and shooting at the same time. The bolt Frankie has sent towards Alastor exploded when it struck his upper back, and it sent him flying towards the lake, over the second blast aimed at the ground. He slid precariously close to the lakes edge before he flipped to his feet. The sting on his back told him another shirt had been singed open, and that he had taken a good hit. It would hinder his movement for some time before he was used to it. The adrenaline pumping through his veins was a good painkiller, as well. Alastor looked towards his opponent to see if the attack had struck, too disorientated to attack again yet. (Last edited by Phoenix on 07-17-10 05:05 PM) |

| As Frankie got up, Alastor ran to his left towards a tree as the orb flew closer to him. He quickly ran around it, hiding from the Vampire's sight with a good ten meters between him and the orb. With Frankie being the distance he was away, he would have to move quite a bit to see around the wide oak. If he did move to see before the orb exploded, it would give Alastor more time.
Alastor smiled inwardly from his plan. Frankie would not be expecting this... |

But it's under one month..
Anyway, I read the first two books. I now understand why the one trailer is more fitting to the book series than the other. The action was introduced more than halfway through the first book, and was considered normal. I found that humorous. I need to purchase/read the last three books before the movie comes out, but I am more excited for this than I was before. |
