| EDIT: ooc: Sorry for the wait. I've been a tad busy. Hopefully you still wish to finish this. If light would not work, Phoenix would have to use a different method. Possibly more direct. It appeared as though the wind let up as Mr. Verse diverted his concentration, and Phoenix formed a plan around the idea. It wasn't much, but it was a start. As the wind picked back up, Phoenix sent another ball of light towards his foe. This time, however, it would explode upon contact. If the wind let up, whether or not the explosion occurred, he would lunge forward and send a slash in Verse's general direction with his blade. (Last edited by Lord Phoenix on 10-18-10 03:15 PM) |

The gallows hung empty in the center of town. Orange rays of the setting sun streaked through air thick with dust, highlighting the wooden houses that had not been inhabited for many years. Sitting on the platform was a dark haired man in an old fashioned button down and slacks. His shoes were shined, and clothes impeccable. If he was a ghost of the forgotten town, it didn't show. The man stared down the dirt road that ran between the homes and shops, apparently looking for something. He began whistling an upbeat tune as he sat patiently. |

| Between the abandoned cars stood an almond skinned man garbed in a white tunic, the open bottom billowing around his legs as the breeze swept it up. Dark lines were prominent around the figure's murky eyes, the same color as the ponytail at the back of his otherwise bald head.
Held aloft in his hands was a wooden staff, blackened, with the golden head of a bird upon the tip. Across his back was a curved sword, and dangling from the waist belt of his tunic was what appeared to be a boomerang. Regardless of his otherwise bland appearance, Adom seemed to stand taller than the skyscrapers around him. If one looked closely, they would see a huge shadow of a flaming bird in the stead of his own. "Burn," Adom said, muttering another phrase below his breath. Immediately, a large fireball left the tip of the staff and flew directly towards the lumbering robot. With its extreme weight, speed would be a weakness that should help Adom down his foe. |

Still have no pictures of the other animals, but here is my puppy, Toby 
My girlfriend calls him Papa Bear because of the way he stands up on his back legs. He's a cutie.

| I never used to have problems either until a few years ago. It was a pain in the ass.
My eyes would burn, my nose was stuffy/runny and I had a sore throat. I couldn't find anything that worked for the longest time, either. I recommend Alavert, though. Quick dissolving, minty, and helps more than anything else I've tried. |

| So I finished the Red Pyramid, and I am quite impressed. Once again, Riordan has taken old lore and myth and turned it into an excellent modern day story. I can't wait for the next book.
He is currently working on two separate series. One being the Kane Chronicles (the first book I just stated: The Red Pyramid), and the other is The Heroes of Olympus. Riordan wasn't quite ready to abandon the world he created in the Percy Jackson series, so he came up with the Heroes of Olympus. A few of the older characters are around, but each book will follow a different set of Heroes. The first, "The Lost Hero", follows three friends who are all the offspring of the Gods. It seems interesting, and I would very much like to get my hands on it. However, what I am currently reading would probably make Cairoi pee his pants. I'm part way through Fables Volume One: The Deluxe Edition. So far, so amazing. I'll let you know what I think once I finish it up |

| I'm impatiently waiting for Naruto to be updated. After I caught up, it became a nuisance to wait two weeks for the next episode
I'm still making my way through One Piece, at a painfully slow rate. With work and the sort, I have so little time. I still haven't watched anything on the list I made, but I did pick up the first issue of Soul Eater at Barnes and Noble yesterday. Hopefully it's good. |

Th story looks pretty good, as do the graphics (of course). How bad are the bugs, though? That is another reason I disliked 3. One freeze doesn't seem to bad, though. It still sucks, but it's better than nothing. |

| I agree with Rogue, and Vince.
I'm all for gay marriage as well. I have no problem with them, and view them as I would any other people. I think the crap that the church and sort gives them is nonsense, and they should just let people live. I know this isn't about religion, but I will find it funny when religion is viewed as mythology. Greek religion is just mythology to us, and I'm sure Christianity and the sort will follow suit. The world just cracks me up. |
