OOC: Due to the loss of all previous post I'm going to go into great detail on my Character.

Grim was Large. Standing six and a half feet tall he had long arms, and legs. His shoulders were large, broad, and powerful. He had black hair that hung down slightly past his shoulders in a thick braid. Grim's face was serious, and framed by a neatly trimmed beard the same color as his hair. Over his right eye was a scar the started on his forehead, and ran straight down over his eye and ended on his cheek. And if one looked carefully the scar was unbroken by the eyelid, but was continued onto it. Grim looked down at the new vampire. "You can call me Grim. But until our mind reader says one way or another about you I'm not going to say much else." He said in a not unfriendly voice. Taking out a cigar he Looked back at Paige he asked "Well?" Then lit the cigar.

Avron mounted Farn. Settling into his saddle he looked around the dark courtyard. For a moment he looked at the two dark statues. For some reason there was something imposing about them. Shaking his head he looses the feeling. Looking at Elara he says "Thank you for coming along. I hope I didn't pull you away from anything important." He Starts Farn out the courtyard. Looking around he takes in the sights of the city. As they leave the castle grounds Avron saw a drow, and moon elf walking hand in hand. Avron watched them as they past. "Strange, but for some reason... It doesn’t feel strange..." He said more to himself than anyone else. Looking you as Elara he asks "Does that make sense?" |

As Katop leads the group out into the exit tunnel a young Drow male runs up to the group calling out to them. "Wait! Please wait!" Catching up to them he pants out "Thank the Dark Maiden I was able to catch up to you." Regaining his breath he straightened up. He looked only just old enough to be considered an adult. (About 105, or equivalent 16 or 17 in human reckoning.) He was wearing the symbol of a cleric of Elistrie on a chain around his neck, and half plate armor. Sheathed on his left hip was a long sword, and opposite of that a short sword. "I wish to join you on your noble quest." He intoned slightly formally. |

Avron takes a piece of the bread. For a moment he just looks at it, but his eyes seemed far away. After a prolonged moment Avron closes his eyes and holds the bread close to his nose. Taking a deep breath he inhaled the scent. Opening his eyes again he smiles down at the old gnome. "Thank you good lady." He says quietly, and very sincerely. Then nudged Farn to continue his walk. As they move off Avron looks down at the bread and smiles again. Looking up he didn't see anything odd about this place at all. The whole city for a moment seemed right.

For a time he was quiet then he let his smile fade, and his face resumed it's normal grim expression. Looking up at Elara he said "That was a really nice thing..." Then brought the bread up to his lips and bit into it.

I love to write, and if I some how make it big doing that I would love it, but I doubt it. Other than that I love to act too. Being on stage is a lot of fun. But I usually work stage crew, and so far in all of my professional auditions I get to the part of saying my name, and they call for the next guy. But that's alright... I knew things like that would happen.

So right now I working on becoming a cop. Probably LAPD. I would like to be SWAT. But after I become a cop I would like to still keep up my writing. Who knows... Maybe I'll get something published... Yeah right...

Avron looked up at Elara. "I don't want to bother anyone." He said quietly. He looked around at her. "You said 'as well'..." He said quietly. For a moment he looked her in the eyes. "If you wish... I mean I may be able..." He stopped talking. And looked away.

Farn stopped and looking at Avron he snorted. Avron glared back at Farn for a moment. Then with a flick of his ears Farn looked back to the street ahead. After a moment Avron looked back at Elara. "I would like it if you told me about your demons... On the boat I could tell that something was wrong. And I just wanted to help, but as we saw I didn't really do a good job." Avron looked away. "You don't have to say anything if you do not want to. I may not be the wisest, but I do know what it's like to contend with demons in one's past."

Grim was glad that he was behind Paige's shield. As she let it down he stepped into the blasted room. As Hiru's trench coat hit the flood Grim took a long pull on his cigar. "Damn..." He said quietly. Walking down the hall to Hiru Grim waited for him to heal himself, and listened to his swearing. During a slight pause Grim said "You do know we are in mixed company. They might be offended by strong language." Reaching into his coat he pulled out the flask full of Ever Clear that Gabriel gave him. Unscrewing the top he handed Hiru the flask. "We should get moving..." Grim said aloud to everyone. "I'm eager to reach the top." Looking at Hiru he asks "Are you good enough to travel? Or do you need time to heal?" Then with a look of amused curiosity he asks. "Could you drink an entire vat of Coke?" |

Farn flicked his ears. "No... That's something he has to do for himself." Farn responded to Elara. "Luckily for all of us he doesn’t have that problem in battle." The voice of Farn was like that of a veteran warrior. Avron looked at his horse almost as if he could tell that something was said. After a moment Avron said quietly. "My home too was destroyed. And my family killed." Avron reached up and touched the covered sword strapped to his back. "They were killed by a pair of red dragons. One was killed, but the other managed to get away... My father died of his wounds nearly a week later. Other than that I devoted my life to the study of wrums, and their kind to exact revenge... Things happed... I lost the only friend I had other than Farn." Avron looked away. He felt that he had said too much...

Grim took back the flask, and removing his cigar he took a draft. As he tilted the flask it neared his face and a little of the scent caught in his nose. Swallowing Grim pulled it away, and looked at it. Screwing on the top Grin sniffed the flask some more. Then let out a small laugh. As Aryss gave her idea Grim said to the group "That makes more sense than anything else... Especially sense the scent off this flask is different than that of the one in the throne room." He replaced the cigar and handed the flask to Hiru. "Take a whiff. Tell me what you think." He walked back into the room where the things were. Grim picked up the desert eagle, and the clips. Speaking around the cigar he muttered. "These are mine... And this..." He picked up the lighter. Looking at it for a moment he flicked it open then flicked it close, and pocketed it. Turning he walked back out the room into the hall. "Well lets get going..." |

Avron followed Elara thinking about many things. He wondered why they were being called to a gathering. He wondered where the others were. And mostly he wondered why Elara did what she did. He glanced at her, then looked down. 'Your thinking too much.' He told himself.

They aproched the fortress like temple, and Avron looked up to see Artemis, and a man who had to be Lord Pell. Avron stopped Farn, and glanced at Elara as she dismounted. Avron decided to talk his queue from her, and dismounted too. Avron stood apart from the group slightly, and waited for something to happen.

I stood in HS for the pledge. I didn't say it, but I stood out of respect. And I would still stand even now. I respect everything that the flag, and country stands for. And for those who have died for it.

Look there is a lot of bad thing you can say about our country. (I say a good amount myself.) And there are those out there who will leave this country to someplace they feel is better. And that good for them. But I actually like it here. (Will now probably be flamed for this.) But this is getting off topic... The whole "under god" debate is rather sad to me. One three letter word causes so much stress, and fighting. And I don't know what's worse. Those who try to sue those who make there kids say it, or those who force the kids to say it. I didn't say the pledge of allegiance. But it wasn't because of "Under God." It was because of what it is. A vow to uphold our country. And as soon as I knew what it meant I stopped saying it. I figured I will decide what I will do when I was ready. I guess it could be a religious argument. The word "God" dose seem to have a religious ring to it doesn't it? :p Wars on religion have been going on for longer than any recorded history... I doubt that we will come to any sort of end to it any time soon. (There is an evolution question... If humans evolve. Why are we still fighting the same fight for the last 10,000 years?) But to me it's a little more simple. It's something some people say to reaffirm there patriotic spirit. It shouldn't be forced. It up the individual to decide how they stand. Ok... seriously... I would like music that would liven people up... Maybe something off of Poxy Boggerts. Or some metlica. For the most part I don't want my furneral to be a sad event. I would want people happy. But since there would be at least one serious part I would have them play either Celtic music, or something of the like.

Avron listened as each made there announcement, and remained silent. To him it was simple. He knew how to fallow orders, and knew how to think for himself as well. To Avron this was a mission. And Artemis was the commanding officer. Avron remained silent and waited, listened, and watched. |

Grim caught the sarcasm in Hiru's voice, and shook his head at the childishness. He stood to one side still puffing on his cigar then looked back at Paige. He could tell she was scanning the doors. "Hold on." He said to the group. "Let's not go rushing blindly when we might have some way to tell which way is better." |

As the crossbow appeared Avron acted. The bastard sword which was strapped across his back seemed to leap into his hand. He knew he was too far away to attack the assassin but he might be able to bar the path of the bolt.

But even as he rushed in, in an attempt to save the queen, the second figure appeared. And dispatched the assailant efficiently. Avron froze and watched the second as she genuflected to Artemis, and returned to the shadows from where she appeared. Avron held his sword in both hands, and looked around for other assassins. The blade he held was not made of steel, or any other metal for that mater. It seemed to be made of a gray ivory like substance. The blade it's self doubled edged, and was as broad as a large hand. Running the length of the blade was a broad shallow grove. The hilt was a simple crosspiece made of the same material as the blade. "What in the name of the light was that?" He asked holding his weapon ready.

The word guardian is what I want to be. To all my friends I am a guardian. Someone who will protect them, and care for them. Someone who will go out of their way to help them. I want to protect... That?s just what I want to do... And the word Oni is Japanese for demon. (So are like half a dozen others but Oni was the one I picked.) And the name demon is a fairly accurate description of me as well. I'm big, strong, tough, ugly, and ferocious when pressed. So put together I am Guardian Demon. If you ask my friends they will tell you this is accurate. A always joke with my friends that it's better to have a demon as a guardian rather than an angel. Because when the chips are down a demon is more willing to do the dirty work, and is less afraid of getting dirty, or messed up. Because lets face it... Demons are already messed up. Name: Unknown, Goes by Oni Age: Unknown, but looks 20 Eyes: Golden Height: 6'6" Tall Weight: 275 lbs. Tall, and muscular. With broad shoulders, and strong callused hands he has the look of one who has seen heavy labor most of his life. His long brown hair, reaching to his mid back is always loose, and combined with his shortly trimmed red beard he looks like some sort of barbarian. Usually very quiet, he is commonly mistaken as uncaring and cold, but that isn't true. Inside of him beats a heart that is fierce, passionate, loyal, and deeply caring. He doesn't like violence for violence's own sake, and despises those who would use it for the wrong reason. The only reason he took up a weapon was to make sure that he would be able to defend those that he cared for, and to stand up for what he believes. Modern Version: Clothing : Oni wears a brown leather duster that comes to his mid calf, a forest green T-shirt, blue jeans, black steel toed boots, and black cut-off weightlifters gloves. Weapons: Inside his coat on a chest holster is two Desert Eagles .50. strapped to the inside of his duster is a 12 gauge pump action shotgun. In inner pockets of the duster are 2 HE (High Explosive) grenades, 2 frag grenades, and 2 flash-bangs. On his belt are two bowie knifes. And strapped next to the 12 gauge is an aluminum Baseball bat. Each gun is loaded, and there is enough ammo in the coat to reload each gun 9 times. Combat Style: He has been trained in multiple Marshal arts, including Karate, Kendo, Greco-Roman wrestling, Boxing, and Kick boxing. He has been able to meld all of this together into a unique fighting style that confuses most that he fights. He has been trained with firearms using a Navy SEAL like training course. Oni is very direct when he is fighting often immediately taking to the offensive trying not to let his opponent do anything else but defend. If he is un able to go for a killing/finishing stroke he'll try and cripple/disable his opponent. While he uses his size and strength to his advantage, he is also very quick and light on his feet, and knows how to use that as well. Medieval Fantasy Version- Clothing: Oni Wears a forest green long sleeve tunic secured at the wrists with black leather bracers underneath a gray chain mail shirt. Gray pants, and black boots. Weapons: A bastard sword (Hand-and-a-half broad sword) across his back so that the handle rests over his right shoulder. A great axe resting over his left shoulder. A 10 foot chain with a spiked ball the size of a fist on either end coiled, and connected to his belt, resting over his right hip. And 4 throwing axes in his belt. Combat Style: While he can remember no formal training in sword-craft he has some strange familiarity with his weapons, and uses them as if he has had a lifetime of training, and experience. Oni is very direct when he is fighting often immediately taking to the offensive trying not to let his opponent do anything else but defend. If he is un able to go for a killing/finishing stroke he?ll try and cripple/disable his opponent. While he uses his size and strength to his advantage, he is also very quick and light on his feet, and knows how to use that as well. (Can apply to both) Magic powers: Oni doesn't cast a spell normally, but instead uses raw energies to channel magic. This way of doing things my be quicker and more powerful, put it is also physically tiring. -Force Shield- By channeling pure force Oni cause a shield that is impervious to Physical attacks to appear in front of him. While the shield is almost imperious to physical attacks, magical attacks will disrupt the shield after too much damage. -Force shot- By channeling pure energy into a free hand Oni can shoot a white bolt of pure energy shoots out for his outstretched hand severely damaging the target it strikes. To be able to use this Oni must have one of his hands free. This ability can be charged, the longer the charge the more damage the bolt will do once it hits. Charging also means that Oni can't use that hand, or the charge will be released into whatever it touches, but not as a bolt but as a general explosion. -Cone of Fire- By channeling fire energy Oni can use his two hands to create a cone of fire. The inferno has an ark of 35 degrees and reaches out 30 feet. Oni needs both hands free to use this ability -Fire ball- By channeling fire energy, Oni causes a small bead of red light the size of a marble, flies from his outstretched hand a target. When it reaches it's target it explodes into a fireball with a diameter from 5 to 30 feet. -Lightning Hands- Channeling the energy of wind, and fire into his forearms causes them to be sheathed in lighting. The lighting is dispersed into a target that Oni strikes with a fist, forearm, or elbow. Should Oni be holding a weapon primarily made of metal the lighting will course through it as well. -Lightning Bolt- By channeling Fire and wind into an empty hand Oni can fling it at his opponent as a lighting bolt. The lighting bolt has the same characteristics of electricity and will arc over into other surrounding targets. And like all electricity will be conducted if it finds a proper conductor. -Cone of Cold- By channeling water and fire (in an negative sense) Oni can use his two hands to create a cone of extreme cold. Any object in this cone without it's own heat source will freeze. And living things will receive a layer of frost. (mammals, or hot blooded creatures. Cold blooded creatures, and plants will freeze.) (Applies to both) Special abilities: -Strength- While Oni looks strong he is stronger than his size and muscles should allow. -Sight- Oni's eyes can see more than three times better as a normal human?s. And in low light become reflective, allowing him to see in near total darkness. -Hearing- Oni's hearing more than twice as good as a humans, and can pick up slight sounds that most would miss. -Smell- Oni's sense of smell is that of a wolf, or dragon. -Toughness- Oni can take blows, and shrug off damage that would cripple a normal person.
