But it's also coming out on 360 as well. Getting Achievements, new audio and video improvements, and get this. It's also getting a new facelift on Peacewalker. MGS: Peacewalker You know, that one MGS game hardly no one played because it was on PSP and nobody played it online. Making it a seriously difficult game to play alone. Read all about it here The only unfortunate thing is that the first game isn't getting the HD treatment. So instead; PS3 and Xbox360 is getting the PSP hard-hitting game for both systems totally re-done. This year. So not only is this good news for everyone. But it's also GREAT news for me because for one I am one huge MGS nut and I literally came all over my pants about 7 times and I am not ashamed to share that. Thanks Kojima. Me love you long time |

| It really was an incredible game. And I am just glad it's getting re-done on a console that can handle it better online. Which was the one thing that upset a ton of people: It's seriously a difficult game to play alone. It was basically like playing Portal 2 with one person. Sure you have AI in the game but placing them and micromanaging them on the battlefield was absurd and was dreadful.
I mean, don't get me wrong. It's a great game. But playing it on your own? Good luck. I guess. You could easily milk a good 15 hours on the story alone and you will basically scratch the surface. MGS4 kinda had the same mechanic what with getting weapons and stuff. But Peace walker perfected it. Hands down. Can't really say which game was my favorite. But I can say that MGS2 was my least favorite. |

| Well, I think what with all the threads I am making here in games. It wouldnt hurt to have an E3 general discussion. Besides, it's freakin' E3. One of the biggest gaming conventions in the world and also one stop shopping when all the competitors start throwing out the big guns.
Highlights from last year's E3: Microsoft : Kinect. Gaming without controllers and only utilizes your body. Couple games announced for the controller. Oh, and MGS Peacewalker. Nintendo : Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo's next big handheld utilizes 3D technology. Without the glasses. Sony : Kevin Butler's big speech about gaming. Playstation Move. PS3-3D, Twisted Metal making a surprise comeback. Konami : I dunno what happened here. So this year has it's rumors, it's early announcements, and more. But they are nothing compared to what happens on the show room floor. It's the day millions of gamers watch in either awe or laughter on their favorite companies push their latest and greatest. And millions of forumgoers will be posting about how awesome each company has pushed the best they could. So why not have one of our very own? Current things to look forward to with each company as it stands based on rumors and speculation: Microsoft : Kinect games and a new network that further expands their lineup of entertainment. Perhaps a music store? Social networking exclusive to Xbox players? Not a lot of hot stuff floating about. Sony : NGP. Sony's new handheld comes equipped with some of the newest technology and is already known as "The PS3 in your hands. Literally". Uses a new LED screen that is capiable of producing 1080p visuals. Sony possible in jumping the gun on early announcements. Nintendo : Another damn system announcement. No one has a freakin clue what it's going to be. But rumors are hot that Nintendo is going to push out yet another console. Nice! FREAKIN RED HOT RUMOR Gearbox Software : Duke Nukem Forever delayed. (Nah not really there aint no way this is gonna happen) So let's start growing our our neckbeards and whip out the chillest Mt. Dew we can get. It's time for E3! | Gentlemen. The Demo is out
E- Alright. My thoughts on the demo. It's...ok! You'll get a good 25 maybe 40 minutes out of the demo. It's nothing new you have not seen yet. Textures either look fantastic or they look blurred out. Duke's one-liners are insanely rare and kinda dissappointing, but overall. It's Duke Nukem. You'll be kicking so much ass that you won't have a care in the world. | Yeah Peace Walker basically was MGS5. Graphics were superb and had quite the extremely deep storyline. MGS4 had a great storyline too but Peace Walker? Grab your popcorn cause holy crap it gets deep

First I came when I got done with the DNF demo and then this news hits and it's like two doses of viagra just gave me another instant boner. Thanks Konami. You guys are the best. Wonder what the trophies are gonna be though. if it's unlocking the best title in all three games I am gonna be one mad gamer. They are not easy to get. E- That was a pretty awkward interview though. | Well they would basically have to re-write the code for the PS1 or lord knows why. But the good news is that the HD collection comes with a code for PS3 that enables you to download MGS1 on the PS3. So if you don't have it it's basically free.
Also I don't think MGS1 would look good in 1080p. It already looks like crap on the PS3 upscaling. So whatever. E- Oh Groovy. Just also read that MGS2 will be the Substance version, and MGS3 will be the Japanese Substence version. Meaning VR missions and more. ZoE version will both be the japanese versions which includes more mechs to fight with on vs mode as well as a bunch of bonus stuff. Plus Kojima has announced that "This isn't gonna be some HD port we are working on. There is gonna be more stuff in these games". | I said last year that if they did not announce Twisted Metal that I would go apeshit (I said it in the E3 2010 thread over at Jul) and lo and behold my wish was granted.
Now let's see if lady luck still has me and what game do I want to see make a comeback? Not Final Fantasy 7 (Or any Square game for that matter). Hmmm...let me sleep on this. |

| Whoops, I got even my own date wrong. It actually starts today! Microsoft is starting now, Sony late this evening, and Nintendo is all by itself tomorrow. So looks like we are off to a good morning! (Cept I have to work this evening)

Sony's Big news First off. Biggest news of the conference. The new PSP, also known as the Playstation Vita. has a price! $249.99. Nintendo now has a serious contender in the handheld department. Comes equipped with party chat features, Full 1080p dual touch screen support (Front and rear screen), and the majority of the videogames that you can play on your PS3 will also be playable on the Vita. So when you are out of the house you can just reach in your pocket and continue to play on the go. Literally. PS3 in the palm of your hands. And at that price it's nuts! New 3D TV at again, a reasonable price. $499.99. 24" 1080p 3D TV, also comes with an HDMI cable and a copy of Resistence 3 when it arrives. THIS FALL. So if you don't have a high definition TV and you want to experience 3D. At that price it's a steal. Also the TV is also DTS sound equipped. So it's not gonna sound like crap when played. God of War. Origins announced. Using the same engine as God of war 3. This PSP "Remake" is arriving on the PS3. Other than that. That's it from Sony. Nintendo is up tomorrow.
