| I have seen worse than an accident. I watched first hand on a suicide attempt.
This happened about a month ago while I was heading to work. I wanted to be there a half hour early so I can get a quick bite to eat. But on the corner of Veterans Parkway and another street I fail to remember (On the left are train tracks). I was parked at a red light. A red Nissan truck in front of me suddendly gunned it and hit another vehicle going 40mph. Immedietly everyone around me got out of their cars to see if the man was alright. Thankfully, no one was killed. However, the driver whom accidently got the impact of the idiot had to be rushed to the hospital. The person attempting this was ok. Later it was shared as a story for the Ledger Inquirer saying that the man driving the truck was "At the end of his road" and is currently locked up. Pending sentence. There are some stupid people in this world. Also, never drink and drive. Ever. |

| Byte and I just dominated Castle Crashers. The ending was...

If I was on Acid it would have made sense! Overall I (Or we) had a great experience with the game. There were some parts that I would have never gotten past if it was not for Byte's guiding. But then again, I am sure I would have figured it out eventually. But hey, I did get to kiss one princess! Damn you Byte! E- Made it to lvl 23 by the end of the first playthrough. | So like I said with the "What games are you playing" thread. Byte and I just beat this game.
We started at around 10PM EST and we beaten it at 2 this morning. So the time it takes to beat this game is about 4 hours. But then you have to unlock all of the characters, find all of the items, find / buy all of the weapons, and find / buy all of the creatures. Plus, there is a flurry of additional content to play around with. Like Arena mode, and the PSN's vollyball mode. Finally, get every character to lvl 99 so you can dominate with your friends online. After the game was over I decided to take a look at some dev stuff and it seems there are some problems. Nothing too big just something the developers will be able to patch at a later date: - Matchmaking still sucks. I never played Arena mode, so I can't really say for certain. according to a lot of people they are having problems connecting in Arena mode. This is supposedly a big problem on XBL. - Magic spells are insanely hard to hit people. Now this I can get behind. During my playthrough with Byte, I am sure he can agree that I was trying my best to hit some enemies with my magic. Hell, I tried to on him and 90% of the time it was miss. - Most animal powerups don't work. The dev's themselves have announced this problem and are looking for a fix as soon as possible. That's about it really. I might do a review of this game soon if people are interested in it. E- HUH! I just found out that both of the DLC that was available on the XBox version are already included with the PSN version. How do I know? There is a little place you can go to buy the two creatures and weapons (Next to challenge mode). But be warned: They are expensive! | newegg has never let me down. But I have looked at Tiger Direct for some deals but they have a ton of open box products. Kinda tempted to purchase them seen how they go through more rigorous seeings than factory made products. Plus, the prices are way lower. Not as good as newegg. But at least those prices are more common than newegg. Catch me here?
As for an OS. I have a Winxp disc that I will be using before I buy win7. Sure I won't be using more than two cores. But it will hold me over before then. Next week I plan on buying the power supply (Xclio 750w) and the motherboard (Undecided). Will make a video update when it arrives. I'll also install it on camera. E- I forgot to mention that the 750w power supply may be overkill. But a year later I plan on buying two of those Cyclone video cards so I can SLI them together. It won't make the games prettier. By the time I need the 2nd videocard it will be cheaper and thus is a worthwhile purchase. Still going to focus on the nvidia GTX 460 Cyclone as the main card for this build. I checked out a couple GTX 470 cards and it's a little overkill. With Dual GTX460's in future games it might not look prettier; it will play a lot smoother. Besides, right now the cards that are higher than that is just a waste of money in my opinion. Also, I am debating on getting This CPU as the main chip running this beast. It's only $130 more than the quad core. BUT! With games featuring more cores than needed; it might be a good bet that this CPU is what I need in terms of gaming to the extreme. So what am I gonna do? Work more doubles and just suck it up for the next three weeks to cover the expense. Six. Cores. 3.4 Ghz. Easily OCable to 4.0 on Air alone. That's a little mindblowing. | I had a good PSN friend who played along with me with both Scott Pilgrim and Castle Crashers. Asked me which one was better:
Personally, it's like comparing apples to oranges. Coke and Pepsi. Both have their strongpoints and weaknesses. Both take about 5 hours to beat. Both are insanely fun with four players around. And both have an amazing soundtrack. I said on facebook that Castle Crashers was better because I just got it. Now that I have beaten it; I feel both are just as great. I just wish that Scott Pilgrim had online multiplayer. E- Also, played a little bit of Mushroom Wars. It was free thanks to PS+ ($9.99 Value) and it's a decent RTS game. Have a trailer. Next week on the PS+. You get Warhawk. Plus a Discount. I used to own Warhawk, and thanks to PS+ All of the expansions are free (Well, were. Should have been a subscriber earlier I guess). | Keep in mind that PS+ does offer free games. But Sony decides what games are free and what are not.
Hell the first week Europe got Little Big Planet for free. I bet some people in the USA would have jumped all over that deal alone. We just got Wipeout HD (Which I already own, and the expansion). Microsoft currently stands up top with the whole online services in gaming. Like it or not. But it looks like PSN will be getting cross game voice chat for PS+ users soon. Source It's up to you to decide which is the better deal really. E- Also, if you don't have PS+, you can still use the service so long as the person sending the invite to chat with you has an account with the service. I have one. Oh Kevin Butler So the Playstation Move launches this month. According to reviewers: "The motion control war starts now. While nintendo has created the motion control scheme, Sony and Microsoft plans on perfecting it. But for now; let's focus on the Move. The move offers 1:1 precision I was at Best Buy when a demo was being held and I had a chance to play a fighting game and the sports game. Both games responded perfectly in a way that I asked for more. Deep down inside I cried because I own a 1080p TV...but it's 18 inches. Plus with my setup I would have to move a lot of stuff around in order to play around with it. Well, I might just do that. I'm building my computer after all, and with my current setup it won't ventilate right. E2- What the hell am I doing wrong on the code below? VVV Launch titles are not gonna be that bad Playstation knows how to release a product. Sure, it's not M rated. They are going to push the product for every audience. With Heavy Rain, SOCOM 4, MAG, and other games getting move support. It's all a matter of time really. But for what is going to launch. It's great for the whole family...just avoid Eye Pet. 3-D You think having some great controls are great? Try 3-D! Killzone 3 is not only going to support move, but it is also going to be in 3-D. I hate the button controls I said it. I really dislike the way move has its layout. I just can't explain it without you playing on it. Having just the wand alone is great. But the nunchuck is just a nightmare to get used to. For a game. It sure has to calibrate a lot I played a 20 minute demo of the sports game and it wanted to calibrate twice. I don't know if it was because a lot of people were around me or what. But either way, I would find that annoying. Basically, Playstation Move might be the next generation in motion control gaming.
