Second of all, Kat's got it in the bag there. Christian Bale would be much better as Leon then Josiah. While Bale could pull off all the Josiahs, that's only because of his skill as an actor. | Politician, it's fine if you don't like Heroes. Not a big deal. But a lot of people on here do.
Here's what I suggest as for a possible little fun: Some new board layouts. I already made a Heroes banner, and somebody actually liked it, so instead of it going to waste, we give it a layout. We can make other layouts, too, up to your discretion. |

| Bettany's roles all ooze his British-ness, though. While he's one of my favorite actor, he's honestly not right for Josiah, either. Josiah just seems, background wise, very ambiguous. I must have different views of the characters than all of you.
I see Josiah as a gentle man gone mad due to the poisoning of the shards and the drive they've given him to accomplish his plan. I don't see him as anything close to an 'ultimate villain' in any regards than his power. Bettany is an epic man built for epic roles, he couldn't play Josiah. The only person I could see Bettany playing is the head of E'Shuyum, Jack. Seeing as how Jack IS British, and his role demands a more comedic twist, which Bettany can deliver. |

| Seifer slowly rose, holding his left arm. The broken ribs were healed enough that he wouldn't mind them too much. He'd be better off laying back down and waiting for the bones to heal more, but he didn't have the time.
The monolithic machine rose from the ground, scaring Seifer. This was the dream child of the blueprints. This was Josiah's apocalypse machine. Seifer reached over and lifted his sword. His bones ached to the point it felt like searing heat, but he had to protect Holly. Josiah's machine could be the end of the world. Seifer slowly walked over until he was standing next to Holly, his presence known. "So, Holly...How are we gonna do this?" |

| Eddie awoke with a gasp, drenched in a cold sweat. He sat up as quickly as he could, eying up his surroundings. The cold linoleum floor and concrete walls were pure white, and the bars of his cell jumped into his vision.
He was imprisoned. For a moment, only fear filled him. He paced around his cell, trapped in this tiny room. He was wearing a plain white shirt and pants, very much like a doctor's scrubs. After the panic wore off, a deep sadness washed over him. His life was gone. He was now nothing more than a guinea pig to these strange, evil bastards. He sat alone, lost in his thoughts, until he heard voices. Voices. He ran to the bars, trying to peek through, but he could only see so far down the hallway. The voices became clearer, making it able for him to listen in. "Yeah, the girl's name is Marika Ferencz. They just finished testing her psychical limits, so we're dumping her in Standard Holding for now." Eddie acted fast. He felt compelled that he could learn more if he could see the girl's face. His power would be useful in this case, he could tap her memories, maybe find a way out. He knew not why the desire to see her took him so, but it did. Acting fast, he ran over to the mirror on the wall and with a rush of force, ripped it out. He then faced away from the group and held the mirror up, thus making him able to see her face. She was just like him. Young, but in her case, unconscious. She was very pretty and her Russian heritage was obvious. Armed with her face and name, he sat down and focused intently before his eyes went white, and visions flooded his mind. She was born in Russia. Eddie had guessed correctly. She always worked hard in her little town, but the town couldn't fulfill her potential. So she came to America to get an American college education. She did, and then found her way into the circus. Her 'gift' came in handy. Her ability to control gravity. Eddie snapped out of the trance, breathing heavily. He had to get back in, he thought he saw one of his previous captors in the last picture-esque flash of memory. He focused harder than ever before, drifting once more into her mind. One day, after her performance, she was told she had fans waiting for her in the parking lot that knew her parents. She ran outside, eager to greet her family friends. She was taken in, then. They tested her limits with a complicated machine, keeping her conscious only a short period every day. She was injected with a medicine every day that canceled out her power. She hadn't been free in weeks. Eddie had held in as long as he could, but he was knocked out again. This time, however, he felt he had enough information. Now, it was time to plot a way out of here. After getting out of these bars himself, he'd rescue Marika and take her with him. |

| Seifer began glowing green. The shards hanging all over his body began emanating a white light, visible through clothing. His posture rose, and he drew his sword, temporarily rejuvenated.
He charged forward at Josiah, eyes filled with murder. He could still see the blood stains of the last successful attack. If he could puncture that armor one more time, it would be over. |

| This is a new concept I'm tossing around. It takes elements from a LOT of things, so hold tight.
1. This is a hybrid sim/RP group. It will span multiple threads and more than likely be a long-standing thing, but it is NOT a continuous story. These characters will have a lengthy story that can break apart and meet up at later times. The characters do not always have to be active. This makes player obligations nothing to worry about, your characters can merely disappear from common view. 2. There is a party system. You can control up to four main characters, but only one can be a Touched. The other three, if you choose to have that many, are regular humans. They can be just as involved in the story as the Touched character, BUT they must be connected with the Touched character. When I say a party system, I don't mean that the characters are ALWAYS together. It basically means they are close associates or acquaintices of the Touched character. You do not always have to role play as the Touched character, you can play just the human characters in events, but be sure to have your Touched character of some importance. 3. You can create your own stories in this 'universe'. RPs, battles, rivalries, romances, deaths, a large amount of this story is in the hands of you, the players. I'll be in control of the larger story, as I'll be running a literal web of characters, but you'll be in almost complete control of how the story is presented and progresses. I'll just be working my story into your works. Keep in mind, however, that I have master control. While I will rarely exercise this power, I will be able to kill off any if not all of your characters, if needed. I can post out of the blue in a, I dunno, a simbattle with an interruption of the battle by armed forces, ending the battle AS it had previously been. This will keep things fluid. I think it will make things very fun, and trust me, I won't abuse anything. I'm a pretty lenient guy, you know that. 4. You will have the option of killing of your character(s) at any time and replacing them with other people, but you have to run it by me. If the Touched dies, the party you had previously is gone. You can bring back human characters into your new party if they are connected to the new Touched character, but for the sake of reality, this will only be possible with SOME of the old human characters, not all. Also, do not feel forced to have four characters. You can have just your Touched character, or just them and a human, if you so choose. 5. Now, I'm sure you are wondering what the story is. I just realized halfway through this that I'm rambling again and you're all a little confused as to the story. Well, here you go. First off, the story takes place in modern times, here and now on Planet Earth. As of late, something strange has occurred all around the globe. A man, calling himself only by the name John the Baptist, is visiting people from all corners of the globe. He finds specific people, normal people just like you and me, and awakens their blood. Awakens their destiny. This man is awakening the souls connected to myth and legend, history and religion, and releases them. He does not decide who can claim access to their powers, as that is not his job. He is impartial to good, evil, law, and chaos. He merely 'baptizes' people into the world of the Touched and then goes on his way. The Touched, to be blunt, are hidden reincarnates of mythology and religion's greatest souls. Once their sacred souls are awoken, their powers begin to develop. At first, they maintain their humanity, but with time, their powers flourish and their form changes. For example, the Touched once known as Richard Corrina, at first disbelieved John, that is, until he heard the voices of ravens, coherent as the English he himself spoke. Odin's blood has begun to awaken in him. Now, even a fully evolved Touched does not 'become' the soul they reincarnate. They always are themselves, though they develop amazing powers. They are still mortal. They are not Gods. If so, they would be called so. Instead, John has given them the name "The Touched". 6. I will be deciding what beings your character is connected to, and very loosely, what powers will come from their awakening. It will NOT be determined by your character's personality, so don't think you can adjust the way I'm thinking by doing that. The objective is to craft fluid, real characters. In time, your characters may very well become like the souls inside them, learning lessons as they evolve. 7. PHEW OMG MY FINGERS ARE NUMB. What do you think?  I put a lot of thought into this.

| The guard watching Cell Hall 4 returned after a long stay in the bathroom. He rubbed his stomach lightly, moaning. He wasn't having a great day. He sat down for a moment, sighing in relief. He heard a strange noise from down the hall. From the new cell.
He walked down the hall, feeling something was amiss. When he passed Marika's cell and reached Eddie's, he gasped in panic. Eddie's body hung from the ceiling, still. The guard whipped out his key and opened the gate, rushing in. He realized one second too late Eddie's body was supported by standing on a stool. Eddie used his fingers, once seemingly paralyzed in the state of holding the "noose" away from his neck ripped the loose blanket from his neck as he jumped onto the guard, bringing him down to the ground with his teenage frame. As he drew his fist back to summon the strength to knock the guard unconscious, he realized the guard had hit his head on the way down. After a quick check of the guard's pulse, he stole his keys, gun, and uniform. He had to tuck the shirt in to avoid people from realizing it was too big for him. He shut and locked the gate behind him, leaving the guard behind. "Time to break out of this hell." |

| Francisco Sierra: Carries the soul of Tlaloc, the Aztec Rain God.
-Tlaloc was a powerful and feared rain and fertility god. Legends say he carried four great jars, carriers of his great power. The first jar carried life energy, and brought restoration and energy back into the Earth and its inhabitants. The second jar brought disease, a powerful sickness that could weaken even the mightiest warrior. The third jar brought frost, snow, and cold. And the fourth jar brought destruction. Francisco starts out with the ability to control water around him, as well as activate the first 'jar', the ability to heal others. You'll gain control of the rest of the 'jars' when I announce it. I'll fill you in more with the details later. I'll get to you guys very soon. |
